MRP CHairman Mark Fraser - the same Mark Fraser that used to play for Essendon?? - says Jetta's reaction of throwing his head back was in play because contact was made. TO HIS WAIST YOU MORON.

Therefore no case to answer.

It's simply breathtaking that the MRP can churn out this drivel, They must actually believe it. Sad really.

Apart from the MRP the whole football world knows that he is a little stager so I'm guessing that the umpires will let him know they are not impressed.

Mark Fraser has now tried three football related occupations and failed at all of them! He'll probably be made CEO of the AFL next year and announce an expansion into Wollongong!

None of the players or coaches missed it though. I reckon it's open season on Jetta now. Everyone will be into him now he's the boy who cried wolf.

Fletcher on the other hand can do no wrong. He's a protected species.

Didnt fletcher knee blease?

Yes he did and a bit earlier he tried to knee another of our players, he is a dog. He's been done a couple of times for kicking about the lowest act on the field.

Little wimp -- forever tainted.

Does anyone have footage of the arrow maker kneeing Blease? Looked bad, and pretty typical, at the time.

the james kelly incident was the worse of the round but got off im confused

I'm staggered. All the commentators thought he was gone,

Same with Ryder for tripping

Same with Fletcher for front on kneeing

And I think of JT getting 3 weeks for a sling tackle..............................where is the consistency

Why did he stay down so long?

He clearly didn't get hit in the head.

No he copped a good knee in the groin (that's what the cricket commentators say isn't it) when Joel fell on top of him. Serves him right for taking a dive.

The review panel is making itself a laughing stock.

So it seems if someone steps on your toe you are entitled to feign having your neck pulled off.

Jetta definitely is guilty of repeatedly diving, but come on, every team in the comp has a number of players who are doing this to some degree. For christs sake, Mitch Clark made a meal of the contact made to him by Dempsey in the 3rd quarter. Watts has a number of times thrown the head forward in the marking contest looking for the in the back. So let's just be consistent, and be ready to get stuck into our own if they are doing the same thing.

Ryder at least got cited and got a reprimand. Pathetic but at least it was noted.

Unless they get away with it !

Yeah well, can't say I was complaining too much when Clark got that free. The free was there as Dempsey clearly stepped across him as he was going at the ball, but he certainly made the umpire aware of it. I guess it is up the umpires to pick out frees like that without the player having to resort to throwing their arms up etc.

Well it would have been the perfect opportunity to take a stand against staging, obviously the AFL aren't really serious about this issue. I would expect one of our players to get off if they do something similar, but I'm not holding my breath.

What about that dog Fletcher? No case to answer for after sliding in with his knees. I hate this guy. Yeah you're tall and lanky, that doesn't give you a free pass to lead with elbows, knees and run amock like a tall lanky battering ram. Hate this guy.

As Gerard Healy calls it, "chook lotto."

While I don't hate him personally, I do hate the way he plays and has played over the years. I think he is one of the biggest snipers we have seen in football, who tries to disguise his deliberate illegal acts with a pretension of of clumsiness. I have not the slightest doubt after viewing the incident several times, that he deliberately kneed Blease in the hip to hurt him and slow him down or put him out of the game.

terry danhier was a alleged sniper well before the 1990 grand final brawl, saw him allegedly hit stephen icke at waverly and then allegedly run away from the scene of the crime

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
