How to beat Richmond next week

The good news is Richmond are currently being thrashed by the pies. I reckon if we can win then suddenly all the focus will turn to Hardwick.

I reckon Frawley can hold Riewoldt. Maybe Royal could prove he is a good midfield coach by working out how to shut down Martin, Cotchin and Deldio and there other runners.

I think we need to bring Tapscott back because he and Magner in there will at least provide some toughness. Tapscott doesnt back down at all and he was at least 1 positive last year.

Hopefully Clark can stand up again and it would be nice to see Jamar smash Maric. I reckon we can win but the players confidence is so low.

Or maybe not.

With that midfield, against ours, we're in for a tough afternoon.

Next week

Their midfield: Martin, Cotchin, Foley, Deledio, Jackson

Our midfield: Moloney, Mckenzie, Magner, Bail, J. Tren.

Thats damning

Shazza turncoats to the Demons?

I've tipped a win this week. Unless a further destabilising event occurs this week, I'm sticking to it.

Yeah , it's better than even money that something will happen . Was thinking of starting a thread along those lines . Maybe we could all share a laugh thinking of some new ridiculous happening .

I'll have a go .

New revelations reveal that Mark Neeld has been leaving the "Match Day" coaching to Brian Royal . Mark , when quizzed on why this happened said "He's been knocked back for so many head coaching jobs , I thought I'd let him have a taste of the big time".

Brian Royal was unavailable for any comment . Sources close to the club reveal that Brian is happy to go back to coaching the midfield .

Cheers

I still think we can beat the tigers. If chippa beats riewoldt and someone else in our forward line (Does anyone else play in our forward line?) fires with clark we have a sniff. We need to tag more aswell. Neeld should know by now we are not collingwood so tag away.

Richmond will win by around 40 points, you can bank on it.

This. We cannot beat Richmond. We need to come to terms with the reality that we might give GWS a contest this year, but nobody else.

Richmond will win by at least 10 goals. Our team plan and implementation is abysmal. The players have no confidence at all in their own ability to win games or even to beat individual opponents.

The two players that usually fire up against Richmond are out. Sylvia saves his best game for the year for the Tigers and Jurrah usually gets a couple of goals. With both these guys out we will lose by 5-7 goals.

I'm tipping Richmond will better us by at least 2-3 goals a quarter, so my line is 48 points, and that is me being optimistic. Their midfield is too good for us, they also put in proper effort at periods during every quarter, where as we only do for maybe a little bit of the first half.

Going to be another ugly one unfortunately.

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the
