Your a smart fella arent you? Work it out. Or do you think its only the players fault? Believe whatever you want, everyone is entitled to their opinion after all.

Somebody asked me an honest question so I gave them an honest answer within the rules of this forum. If you dont like then dont read it.

Captain obvious that there is more going on wouldnt you think, an offseason of hell and just lost a multi million dollar sponsor.

So in other words you've got nothing!

Just filling in time before Footy Classifieds starts?

The good news is Richmond are currently being thrashed by the pies. I reckon if we can win then suddenly all the focus will turn to Hardwick.

I rekcon Frawley can hold Riewoldt. Maybe Royal could prove he is a good midfield coach by working out how to shut down Martin, Cotchin and Deldio and there other runners.

I think we need to bring Tapscott back because he and Magner in there will at least provide some toughness. Tapscott doesnt back down at all and he was at least 1 positive last year.

Hopefully Clark can stand up again and it would be nice to see Jamar smash Maric. I reckon we can win but the players confidence is so low.

we will not beat richmond, we will struggle to beat anyone, including GWS and Suns

Play one on one, man to man, kick long, have forwards who are willing to put their bodies on the line, take a strong mark, kick a long goal, it was called football. Remember when sides would do that? All this c--p about zones, presses, forget it

It's all about the midfield. Richmond has class but some of it is inexperienced. Jamar is going up against a plodder, not his master, this is the situation Moloney often thrives in. We're not without a chance if we can really get on top in the midfield. I hope we stick rigidly to the game plan for 120 minutes whatever happens.

Yep, just got to love our supporters.

Are they really "our supporters"? I think they have lost the ability to "support" - just a thought.

Flying down for this game, booked a ticket just before round 1 when optimism was at its peak,

Don't think Frawley could play any worse than last week, but then again neither will Dustin Martin.

Prediction: A DRAW

See you there - I will be the odd one out - I will be wearing Red & Blue and be screaming for our team.

Not booing them like many other Melbourne "supporters" seem to do. or

I told you, you where a Dud ( "insert melbourne players name") you cant kick, you cant chase, you show no leadership blah blah blah - Look how clever I am - I'm a Melbourne "supporter"

Please feel free to join me.

Well the worst thing that could happen is if Miller bags 10

The Media would really love that

IMO so long as we stick to Neelds instructions and game plan every week things will turn around eventually

Neeld will weed out those who don't and cut those who can't

To continue in the job depends on it

Ten goals?

Hope you're talking about a season tally there

That only equates to 1 goal 4 points, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Richmond are last in the competition for clearances and second last for contested possessions. Granted, they have played two v good sides but it is an area there to be exploited. If we can then back it up with a strong work ethic and attitude on the outside of the packs we can win.

Richmond are a team that will drop their heads if they don't get a game like this on a platter (who does that sound like?). Let's do to them what Brisbane did to us - go Dees!

We're not out of it. This is Richmond we're talking about.

That said our midfield must show up and get a fair share of the ball and not put too much pressure on our backline.

Full 4 quarter effort will be required. If they can do this and be efficient, with a couple of our forwards contributing, we are in the game.

Our midfield would look better with Sylvia present, but now it's up to the likes of Moloney, Trengove, Jones, Magner, McKenzie to play well. And Jamar to have a good game.

Still need quality in the middle.

Cotchin, Martin the big dangers.

I totally agree H-T

If some of the comments from other threads are noted

Eg players do not compete against each other, Howe stops goin the speccy only (or holds ont a few), Davey chases a few down,

players move into space, if the coach moves proactively not reactively, etc etc IF ALL TRY

we should at least be competitive

GO DEES

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
