No.

[censored] him.

He would have been a premiership player but didnt want to even consider us. He put a price on his head so big for the sole reason thst he knew that we couldn't pick him in PSD.

[censored] that guy. I wish him no luck for the rest of his career. He got his money.

He actually didn’t get a chunk of that money because of the Covid freeze on player payments when the season was shut down. He lost out on about $300000 of that front ended money that priced him out for clubs picking ahead of Carlton.

Life is funny sometimes.

Only played 38 games in 4 seasons for Carlton and turning 30, so the odds of him putting in even 11/12 games are against him.

Got enough problems of our own.

I still have hopes for Spargo.

He was still on crutches in the last few rounds, surely he’s a long way off?

Think he needed surgery later in the year. I presume he'll be alright for pre season and why they put him in for surgery when they did.

Stay away.

I remember how when O’Meara was playing like an Ablett clone in his early years at Goldcoast, Martin was the one with more talent.

Shame he was drafted into a culture-less rabble with role models like Harley Bennell.

A talented but lazy footballer. No way we need the likes of him.

When playing for Carlton, I haven't found him lazy when playing. He tackles, chases, has intensity. I think there were question marks about his training work ethic though.

Pretty sure Adam that he resisted surgery earlier in the year wanting a natural rehab / recovery, but gave in in the end when it failed to improve.

Average player when fit. Out all of this year and probably a lot of 2025. Let's move on.

He actually became consistent in 2023, and had a really good elimination final against Sydney.

He got suspended in that Sydney final and missed the Dees/Carlton final and I can recall being excited at the time, as he was becoming a key cog in their forward line as that third target.

Geelong will no doubt get him back on the rails and he'll probably end up in the All OZ 40 squad, knowing how Geelong fix footballers.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
