If Tyson was able to improve his disposal, he would become a real weapon. Always seems to have leather poisoning.

Not sure which bit some don't get, yes Tyson butchers now and again, but he gets his hands on the ball, he is an important part of our midfield

Pretty pleased with that second qtr. Not a great day for forwards but competing really well. Watts looks in better touch, has had a hand in a couple of the goals.

Melksham, Oliver, Tyson, Hunt (in that second qtr) killing it.

Trengove and JKH pretty ineffective.

Need to hold them in the third, throw a spare man behind the play (hell 2 even).

10 goals to 4 kicking with the wind. Need to do something.

need to push them wide as they come into the fifty and thus limit the scoring from a percentage viewpoint. Need Watts to play back centre corridor and just clog up the space. Even if he doesn't get a kick he will do his job if they are forced wide.

Tough conditions which has brought us down to their level. They are working harder and our tackling has been poor. Need more from Viney and our second string mids (Tyson and Oliver playing their role) and some hard work and controlled decisions from our backs next quarter.

I reckon this match shows how much we still rely on Jack Viney. He's having a down day and it's reflecting on the rest of our side. Getting Nathan Jones back next week will be massive.

Aside from Tyson who is going to stand up.  Jesse, Jack v and or Jack w.

Watts needs to start crashing a few packs. He is well rested from last week.

I think it might be Garlett to kick the goals. I'm tipping 5 for him.

The attitude towards JKH and Tyson in this thread is very interesting. People either really like or really hate what those two players are bringing today.

Angry face if you think they suck. Like if you think they've been amongst our better players.

My hope for the second half....

Someone kicks for goal with Brown standing the mark doing that stupid dance (like when Salo was kicking for goal).

They proceed to falcon him full strength in the face, collect the crumbs and then proceed to run into an open goal.

Please T Mac in defence for the 3rd Q to try and stop the NM talls getting a miss match in size which was very effecting in the 1st.

Tyson is a ball magnet. No doubt about it.

His disposal isn't always great to say the least.

JKH is s still developing. He is better now than previous games.

We need T Mac back this quarter

jetta playing on talls is ridiculous!

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
