Dogs aren't much chop this year. Their midfield is decent, but their forward line is non existent and backline average. Won't be doing big damage in finals again this year unless they make big changes.

In their current form we should account for them in two weeks time.

Swans look like they're back to the form we expect of them. Should've won by 70-80 points tonight. Scoreboard flatters the Doggies.

Wouldn't be writing the dogs off yet. They had an okay year all of last year and were only dominant in the final 4 weeks, where it counted

But to counter that we've got Collingwood this weekend who are coming off the highest of highs.

I'd prefer a team getting smacked then a team winning by 10 goals.

SCG often produces rubbish games because its small size makes modern footy more compressed. But you have to love the way the Swannies targeted certain Doggies and mentally threw them off. 

Buddy is a freak, and I loved the way he intentionally led his player away when Reid was marking everything. Team goals are always the best. 

Every few years or so I end up a fan of an opposition player. Kennedy is a star. Tough, effective and inspiring. 

Doggies looked poor because of the Swannies pressure. Any team can beat anycteam by applying that manic pressure, like we did to Adelaide.

The next three weeks... Collingwood, Bulldogs and Swans will go a very long way to shaping the MFC season.

Doggies loss was good for us last night,  Crows smashing Saints will be great for us too.

Saints will be desperate to emulate what the Dees did vs Adelaide a few weeks ago to show they have finals credentials.
