No shlt Watson. Thanks, now i feel far better.

Im fully aware of what all that nonsense is about and why.

I still suggest they say less. Do more.

If you continually draw attention to what you're not doing you run the risk of looking a tad silly.

This. When we don't turn up to play, it takes us an entire quarter to switch on, by which time we find ourselves down by 4 goals with too much work to do over the final 3 quarters.

After last weeks insipid 1st and 3rd quarters, Goody should've been breathing fire and brimstone for the entire week.

I'd be both shocked and dismayed if we didn't come out all guns blazing this week.

Agree, whilst it shouldn't matter, we have played nearly every team at full-strength this year - Brad Scott said that it was the first time they'd been able to put their full team on the park and it was against us!  Hawthorn was the same when they got Rioli back.  Must take full advantage, although I would prefer Lynch out ahead of Gaz!

Teams announcedt a bit earlier tonight:

IN: Jake Melksham, Alex Neal-Bullen, James Harmes
OUT: Christian Salem (susp.), Dean Kent (omitted), Sam Weideman (omitted)

Changes look pretty good to me!

It doesn't matter who plays against us if the boys don't go in with the right mindset we r screwed which has already happened this season a few times.

I like it. Weids had to go...no where near ready. Kent seems to have lost his appetite for the contest ( almost threw something at the television in the last quarter last week) and Salem well, he is a loss. Three strong competitors back in.

Looks good. Though slightly surprised to not see Stretch's name. Had a pretty good rap from Plapp, and he's a better disposer of the ball than any of those included.

Kent and Weideman are the right choices as outs.  Kent hasn't been good and while we could do with the height, Weideman wasn't giving us much in that department anyway.  He rarely takes a mark and wasn't impacting the contest.

We are going in small up forward but that's not a bad thing with the conditions.  Harmes, ANB and Melksham all give us the extra run which will be handy in the heat.

Stretch, Kent and Weideman are emergencies.

I like the changes as it will help keep the midfield fresh as we can rotate them more with the 'ins'.  Important in the heat.  Stretch could have fitted that just as easily.

The downside is we will have a shorter fwd line.  Petracca and Watts will have to work hard against May.

But on balance it will suit us and the conditions.

What's happened to Billy Stretch? Dropped out of favour? Has he been caught sleeping with Goodwin's missus?

Good call. Wish he would get a game. Pick him over many others. Glad to see Weid out....kid seems a fair way away at this stage.

Hope we can win but can anyone really know what side will turn up and for how long?

Weed and Kent had to be dropped. Can't complain too much with the changes, Nibs and Chomp deserve a run after their efforts at Casey.

That's true LH, although one look at their backline suggests that they aren't that tall down there either.  North had some quality in that area last week, where as this week we just need to make sure we don't bomb it on May's head.  Hopefully this leads to more of the ball hitting the deck, better pressure from our forwards and more opportunities to score.

I know it may change at game time but just seeing Oscar lined up on Lynch made my bowel loosen a tad.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
