Can't remember a better win in my 60+ years of following this mob.

I'm tipping the 64 GF was better......just sayin...

Waiting for Steve's analysis on the McDonald boys and Frosty.

I was there, or should I say I am here.  A win for the ages. Our running, particularly defensively was outstanding.

The pants were off, the scarf was waving and the dimmies went flying as my wife and mother in law came home from dinner with as Truck got his goal with about ten minutes left!

I asked how their dinner was and they said not as good as mine by the looks of things!

GO YOU GOOD THANGS!

THAT WAS WILD!

All I asked for was for the players to contest and boy did they contest. I cannot remember a Melbourne team going that hard for so long, hunting in packs and tackling. Maybe have to go back to the days of John Northey coaching. That is an awesome result and a great return for Bernies 200th. Go Dees

I was there tonight. Went up from Melbourne with my son as his 7th bday present! The boys delivered big time. When we were 26 down, away, against a good side, undermanned, I thought it would get ugly.

So much to like about tonight. The way the backline setup, the numbers we got to the ball, the incredible tackling, the 1 on 1 performances and the even contribution.... magic win!

Can't wait till we put together a four-quarter effort. This three-and-a-half-quarter business is seriously hurting our percentage.

Meh, if you take out the enormous run of goals we got, Adelaide actually scored more than us...................

No changes next week

my wife and fam came with me and my boy tonight. Wife and daughter were 50/50 going back to the hotel at half time, but didnt. She's stoked she didn't, and sang the song louder than all of us.

im so proud in South Australia...

I am indeed. Time is running out for me to see that premiership

If we can play with the same intensity for four quarters every week I have no doubt we'll get there. Bloody frustrating team though.

This win reinforces exactly what frustrates us loyal fans. We know how good they can be, when they click we look like one of the most exciting teams in the comp! We should have another couple of wins, but we're 4-4 because we're so up and down!

I love this club for better or worse but jeez they don't make it easy on us! Having said that it does make wins like this tastier!

Hopefully this gives the boys the self belief they need to see it pays off to continually and consistently pressure the opposition and turn up to the game mentally switched on from the start no matter who the opposition is.

Hogan needs to change the way he plays (less calling for ball on his head) and Melbourne need to stop always looking for him as the first option.

Play him at CHF

Speechless..

Amazing what half time can do to you. Tyson went from junk to spunk. Was another big contributer in the 2nd half along with Petracca Tmac and even Kenty.

Speaking of Tmac, please Goody leave him up forward! Has an absolute huge tank and could play that roaming  Nick Reiwoldt style CHF. I saw a pretty decent forward out there tonight. Frosty is already proven that he is more then capable of being our number 1 defender.

Oscar's best game in red and blue colours. Completely shut out that pretender in Josh Jenkins.

Said at half time that for us to be any chance Petracca has to go in the midfield. What he did tonight was just a small tip of the iceberg on what hes capable of. Upside is huge!

Lock Oliver and Jetta for All Australian. enough said.

Pedolanko! To think we could have kept Dawed ahead of him. Doing everything right to suggest he's best 22 for the whole year.

Hibberd Salem were the class down back. Salem will be a star once he gets that 50 to 80 games under his belt.

Viney is back, and brilliant coaching especially putting TMac in the forward line.

The boys really wanted it and they got it!

As the great Butch Gale (nearly) said "I tipped that". TMac forward

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
