Richmond is [censored].  They have beaten rubbish teams in Carlton, Collingwood, Brisbane and West Coast on a wet day in Melb.  Dees are not in bad form, they just had a bad qtr against Freo.  We were by far the better side against Geelong and had Gawn not gone down we win.

The Hulk comes in and we win!!!

The Tiges have had 4 good wins. We have one good win and a poor win. We have not been too bad that's true but far from impressive and not confidence building performances.  However, we will have to make the most of our opportunities up forward and our midfield will have to play its a......   off.

Just on 7 news.

Martin with a groin injury concern. should get up but wont be 100% fit.

Hibberd right in the frame to get selected on Monday.

That has to be a massive win for us. Even if Martin plays, I can't see him pulling off another 40 possession 3 goal game on a crook groin.

Hogan and Hibberd look like great ins on paper.

Please let some injury news go our way and Dusty miss

I hope they pick him, he then totally ruins the groin in the first 5 mins and is out for the rest of the game (10 weeks out total) and it starts the downward spiral of the Tigs season.

I think you should blame Hogan and Lewis. If those two think that it's the Carlton doctor and the MRP process which is the problem, they will have learned nothing and we'll have the same problem repeating itself.

Stupid actions I concede but the penalties were completely disproportionate to what they did, especially having regard to similar, if not worse, acts by other players this year that have barely attracted any sanction at all.

It's cost us at least one win thus far.

Our best beats Richmond.

We're better.

We win.

Don't rate them.

At all.

A remarkable neck out statement filled with the insight of a seagull stricken on a barren landscape.

Insightful Pro. Well done.

I agree, they have beaten carlton, Brisbane, and Collingwood and fallen over the line against a wasteful west coast. far from convinced they can do it against better opposition

Richmond more than any other team rides on confidence and emotion. If they get on top early will be hard to reel them back in.

Surprised people are giving Hibberd another week. From what I saw of the game today his kicking off half back was great. Unless we'd like to handball in circles inviting the opposition to take it off us and kick goals for another week, he comes in.

Misson didnt say it, but you could tell he was thinking that Hibberd needed another week in the 2s

I've seen every second of Richmond this season and haven't liked much of what I've seen. I said North were the worst 9-0 team ever last year, Richmond are a much worse 4-0 team.

Nankervis has made them their biggest improvement, as their rucks have been shot (semi typo) for years. Spencer is good enough to break even going on his form so far this year.

Their stars are playing well, the same ones that go missing when the spotlight is on. They don't worry me.

They're playing as well as they can and it's not impressive.

If we lose to them I'm going to be furious.

Personally wouldn't mind seeing petracca go head to head with Martin. Trac is strong enough to go with him, especially in the air one on one and is good enough to hurt him going the other way too.

Not so much this As previous years . How about we call time on  making excuses. We'll lose if we're not good enough Gonzo.

Who is making excuses?

Would love Martin to play but does Jack all because of the injury. Happy for him to be right the week after as I don't like serious injuries.

For me

out: Weids milkshake and Hannan

in: hogan Hibberd(if fit) and pedo

We are beyond needing oppo injuries to get a win.

I totally get your point as it's a bit of a loser's mentality having to rely on the opposition's guns to be injured in order to win a game.

However, Geelong and Freo have directly benefited from our stars being out, so I feel we're due a little luck going the other way.

Jack Watts specifically mentioned JKH on SEN this morning.  Goodwin's pre-season player review of him in Heartbeat was glowing.  Will not surprise to see him in.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
