There's nothing you can't love about watching West Coast play awfully on their own home ground. It's a lot harder when the umpires don't gift you the game.

Amazing that the Dogs have done so well with Stringer having absolutely no impact (until that goal) and the Bont quiet for more than a half.

A very well-deserved win.

They're a slick outfit the Doggies ... and their teamwork is immense.

They'll trouble whoever they play next Friday night

Feels a lot like West Coast has done a Melbourne with this one (except we obviously never do this in finals). Just feels a bit like they thought they had the win before they started playing. Selection error (dropping Jetta for a tall and then being cut up by the Dogs' run), some of their stars playing selfish football (it feels like a team vs 22 individuals).

If the Dee's can just clone Bontempelli, Dalhaus and Daniel I think we'd be a real shot at a premiership

Yep i agree. Dogs took them on from the first bounce.

Great to hear Basil's commentary...

I love watching the West Coast midfielders duck their heads into tackles and then, when the umpire correctly refuses to pay a free for a high tackle, the midfielder has no idea what to do next.

The crowd know what to do though.

Well aren't the Meth Coke huge pretenders.

Can't wait to hear Tim Gosage on SEN tomorrow morning. He was on today raving about Eagles and how they were super confident of tonight and going deep into finals.. Ox was all over him and asked him if he would be in tomorrow if Eagles lost

One thing it tells you, if you have pace, good disposal and effort, you can be a good side, even without a great key forward.

Caleb Daniel is a gun. Is so composed and doesn't waste a possession.

Well done to Luke Beveridge. Never heard him complain about their constant injuries or use youth as an excuse for lack of effort. Hopefully Goodwin takes a leaf out of his book.

Hate to sound like a broken record but to all those who excused our last two games on the basis that we were young or tired.... have a look at what a "TEAM" can do.

They had every right after their incredibly bad run with injuries  and then ending up with the almost impossible finals assignment to say... we are too young and too tired but they played to their strengths and won easily.

Yes ... I am very jealous !!!

The underdogs became the victorious Bulldogs. A win for the good guys.  Makes me think that there is a footy God after all. I would walk on hot coals to see them beat the Hawks or the Cats. What a beautiful thing that would be.

So so happy for the Dogs. At least there is one team in the finals that don't make me sick to my stomach.

They were fantastic tonight, and credit to them for not giving up despite their mounting injury list. Here's hoping they knock out Whorethon next week!

Well done Doggies!!  Its great to see the Weagles bomb out on their own dunghill. Particularly pleasing for me as a Victorian living in Perth.

Kennedy has not fired tonight which doesn't surprise as he has always been a down hill skier. Most of his goals have been against the lowly teams where he kicked a few bags. Hope the Doggies can repeat the dose on Geelong or Hawthorn next week.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
