Heretia Lumumba is a pathogen acquired by swimming in the Lamumba river, a tributary of the Zambesi. Those afflicted suffer from Grandiosity, Hypersensitivity and Proctalgia fugax. There is no cure.

I think he is over rated as a player, has diminishing value and is just a pain

we'd have to run all of our media past him for approval !!!

Yes for sure. In case you've forgotten, we currently have melbournes playing list. None can kick. Harry/heretiririw is an explosive line breaking premiership player who is not past his prime. A running half back, wow, can't have that at melbourne, wouldn't fit in with the rest of our list. The only problem I can see is that he might struggle to adjust to not playing on from marks, and chipping backwards to a turnover rather than breaking the lines forwards and giving our forwards a chance.

Yes definitely for HL. Whoever controls the steering wheel in Demonland must act on some of the rubbish comments in this thread. Pathetic commentary. Pathetic gutter dribble.

Harry would definitely take offence.

If he wasn't busy boring everyone to death.

Anyone got any football reasons for passing, or is it all just personal?

In a team game, where one individual annoys people, is precious, creates attention and derives dirty satisfaction from drama, I do not care a hoot what their footy skills are like. They create a management headache from day dot. We have neither the skill, team strength or culture to tolerate him. Goodness, we cannot even tolerate the solid under-performers we have, much less a big stage drama like Heretier.

No.

We should leave no stone unturned, would have Crusty the Clown come to Melbourne if he could get into our best 22.

Heretier could get into our best 15 atm, hence we should look closely at him.

We need fotballers who can run (and not get caught with the ball often), who can hit a target sometimes (he cannot), and who are not sooks !

Most overrated saying in football we let Stevie ARMSTRONG go and he became a Premiership Player. Yes everyone wants to be one but you should be not judged on that alone in regard to your football ability right place right time and a lot of luck can be the difference. Would you say that about Cam Mooney based on his performance in the 99 Grand Final donuts all round

a) Robert Harvey, Lenny Hayes, Gary Ablett Snr, Tony Lockett, Paul Kelly, Rob Flower, Bob Skilton, Matthew Pavlich, Dougie Hawkins, Garry Lyon, Nick Reiwoldt

b) David O'Halloran, Mitchell White, Ricky Olerenshaw, Stuart Anderson, Chad Rintoul, Richard Hadley, Robert Campbell, Darren Milburne

Which players would you take at your club

No.

I'd call that a footy reason, actually. :)

He has the run and carry we need off half back, but he only does 2 things: 1) sprint like buggery and kick it as long as he can to the wing 2) sprint like buggery and do a dinky little 15.1 metre kick to a team mate. Too limited for mine, and his long kicking often is kicked straight back at him by opposition players who read his 2 options really well.

No for me.

I would cancel my mebership and not go to games if this muppet or Robinson from Carlscum ever play for us.

Gorgs, you seem to offer to cancel your membership regularly.

I am surprised that your are a member, are you still a member?

How good is Herry, really? All Australian in Collingwood's premiership year when the Pies' superflood caught everyone by surprise and Mick have Herry a licence to run off half back with pretty much no opposition in the vicinity. Once he got it he banged it long into the Collingwood forward line and waited back for the ball to be roosted out to either himself of Maxwell.

Those sorts of easy kicks are a footballer's dream.

Roos would have a different idea of how he wants to Herry to play, but I doubt Herry would be up to the change.

Good kick when roosting it long. Quick when given a chance to wind up.

He's not really what we want, and certainly not at the price he would ask.

Ok, here's a saying that not overrated.

Cemented best 22 in a side that has made finals 8 years in a row. Little better than 98% of our list

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
