The Tab spuiker mentioned two very big bets on the wireless.

Happy days for that guy but money can't buy the difference this will make to us.

I am stoked for us all .

I'm speechless. this will give our boys so much confidence for the future that they can start believing in their ability to strangle the opposition and win ugly. Who cares how we win? I'll take anything.

Soooo good.

Me too Reverand a win is a win is a win

Not a bloody honourable loss

A bloody great big win.

Sando just had a slip up in his pressor saying "we will work the pretty boys pretty, we will work the boys pretty hard during the break"

LOVE it

Of course in the first half they were out worked. But Adelaide's bigger problem is talent. They have a few neat footballers but besides Dangerfield, Talia and Sloane who are the legitimate good footballers at that club? Brodie Smith if he could hit a target. And Big Tex of course. But besides that they are very meh

Remember that ridiculous promise to turn us into the hardest team to play against?

It's starting to happen...

Not only are we conceding considerably fewer points, but we're controlling the tempo of the game for longer periods, blocking up stoppages and holding our opponents at half back by strangling their options further upfield.

What happened with Wattsy's back?

Not sure. Looked like a spasm chasing a guy just changed direction then couldn't go at all. Came back and did a couple of ok things but was much better before the injury. Frawley was carrying something as well.

So rapt up in the win that I almost forgot the umpires!

Just pathetic.

Are they so incompetent that they need a crowd of +20,000 screaming in order for them to pick up on free kick. (they almost need to umpire with ear plugs)

If we were Collingwood Maguire would be absolutely fuming and calling for an enquiry into the umpiring in interstate games.

That free that resulted in the Crows goaling and cutting the lead to 15 was a complete momentum changer (think it was Terlich who was tackled and they said he had prior opportunity).

Last week we saw players getting pinned with no prior and yet Adelaide players got away with that today - if they are going to make stupid rule changes then be consistent.

oh and the 'not 15m' calls where disgraceful! just because we kick sideways/backwards does not mean 25m<15m.

Our first win in South Australia after 13 years and 17 straight losses, many of which were in excess of 50 points. The Crows of 2014 may not be world-beaters but for me this is a landmark achievement that will do wonders for the confidence of the team (especially the older ones).

Jamar early , Viney wow . Dawes hard . Pederson . Jkh . And my boy Wattsy is learning . Everyone and well done . Roos sensational . I said we would win . Crows are poor on paper imo and we have been building . Roos is the man from a player management angle and game plan / match day .

Condescending commentry on fox / lack of knowledge and at first look the umpiring .3 free kicks end to end . Seriously .

Party time .

Whats wrong with Frawley?

Negatives I guess

- Potential injuries to Jones, Frawley, Georgiou, Jetta (?cramp) and Viney might be penalised for playing football the way it should be played.

What did you watch it absolutely fair bump

Terlich is very very important for us. Dare I say, our hardest player.

So Demonland posters what about Terlich still worried about his Kicking Some here have no idea

I didn't have access to the telecast, but I don't think I have ever refreshed the superfooty page as much as I did tonight in the last qtr! Great win for the boys. Is great to see that when n jones is down that we now have others who can pick it up and do what he so often does. GO DEES!

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
