People in the crowd are actually laughing at Watts for how he just floats around doing nothing.

I find it incredibly hard supporting a team that he plays for, watching is just [censored] painful.

Dunn been great playing as a loose back. 15 touches.

I'm watching on TV, but even I can see how ineffectual he is.

PS Can we please not review every single shot on goal?

Scrappy but effective, Not too shabby. Shocking umpiring.

Grimes strangled by McVeigh...play on.

What a bloody disgrace.

Any just now....bloody pi55weak umpires not prepared to make a goal touched decision ..... this was bleeding obvious.

Once again with Watts out there we are playing a man down

Doesnt even try at all

Makes me sick

Well, we kept them goalless for that quarter. That's something. Sub Watts off for Salem at halftime and we might see a quick skillful player running on to the loose ball and pinpointing some passes.

why does watts always look to handball first?

we want him to kick - he's supposedly one of the best kicks in the league.

It's almost as though he is scared to kick and never wants to go forward only backwards

Posted

But, his tackles are so ineffectual. He has no physical presence on the ground, he doesn't tackle, he cuddles.

maybe his nickname should be Teddy. or TB

In a touch of irony, we are becoming a hard team to play against. We are not far off being a bona-fide middle of the road side. I know not too many other footy fans other than Melbourne would celebrate that, but I am. It's very easy to see where Roos is trying to take us.

Agreed Jarka! That's why a few days ago i suggested he move into the VINEY household for awhile to learn some necessary lessons from Todd and JV.

Heading the right way 'Nasher'. Looking forward to Salem coming on...

I'm watching on TV and he has been f'ing pathetic, I'd sub him off although apparently we can't because his feelings would get hurt.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
