i hope your wrong... But I'm not confidant....

He will be a big loss for us, but really a player like him is kind of wasted in a team like ours.... If he does leave, i understand the reasons and id wish him luck...

I don't understand the reasons and I don't wish him any luck.

He will replace Lake at Whorethorn unless we win games.

The same predictions of doom, from the same panic merchants...

We're 2 rounds in.

It was never going to be a dramatic revival.

As long as we show steady improvement by the end of the season, he'll stay.

Where's my proof?

The same place as everyone else's.

He goes he goes.. such is life. I rank him BEHIND Garland anyway in terms of importance to this team.

We lose one we go find another...throw some money or whatever..

Am sure Roos and co can find a suitable replacement

Im simply not going to let players dictate my concerns. Its the 'new' way of the landscape. So be it.

I agree. Bring back Garlo.

The way things are I think it's more important to retain Dunne than Frawley

Yeah, I agree, I wouldn't sell out to retain Frawley.

Retain Dunn and pin point an A grade mid from another club.

We are going to need a stack to get a Dangerfield type across, but we need to do that.

If we can get our forward line up and running for next year, then we have to target an elite mid.

Some really uneducated opinions here on Frawley.

Wasn't great early on, but still one of the best players on our list, and works harder than most peaheart supporters realise.

Maybe take a step back and have a think, why would one of our best players stay for his prime

years when he could go to one of the best run clubs in comp?

Waiting to see what direction the club takes is the biggest cop out an experienced player like Chip can play.

As one of the experienced players and in the leadership group he is one who should be shaping this clubs future not sitting back waiting for someone else to set standards.

His output has not really engendered any lifting of standards, in fact over the first two games he has been ordinary.

If he goes he goes, but it will have little to do with the clubs direction, in fact it would not surprise if he hasn't been tapped up by someone already.

I for one would not understand his reasons or wish him luck at his new club.

Probably been answered already. But if Frawley does leave under Free Agency, we will almost certainly get pick 2 as compensation, correct? This is assuming we are wooden spooners.

I still hope he stays. Anyone that thinks we are better off without one of our best and most durable bookends, are kidding themselves.

Started really slowly but showed some fight I think. Not going to crucify him over one lacklustre performance against some good players.

Just as worried about his dumb mistakes as his effort. Not just his kicking but his lack of clean fast footy.

When in 2nd gear he's serviceable. But he makes errors befitting of the club.

Last year it seemed possible, a maybe, but this year it's a formality: he's been Melbourne'd.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
