This bloke was the best thing to come out of Tigerland until he cut his hair. Similar to Chance Bateman in this way.

Worth a rookie spot?

Yes? No?

Perhaps if he adds a Lynden Dunnesque mostache it might be worth looking at.

struggled at VFL level when his career at tigerland was in jeopardy, tells me he doesn't have the desire or hunger for it

a massive NO from me

I wouldn't go for him but he has talent. He is not a list clogger etc...I have seen him play 2 or 3 games and he is definielty not a dud.

Agree he's not a dud. He's got a good football brain, reasonable skills and tons of courage. He's just too little and gets smashed too often. If he stays in AFL he will get killed one day.

Not for us

He's not a dud. He's just another kid who can run & catch & kick, but who will never be a consistent league footballer courtesy of his size.

Apropos of other news late today, I've always thought of Nason as being Richmond's equivalent to Addam Maric. Similar size*, similar role, similar output and now similar outcome.

*Note - my assessment of size is purely visual. If stats say different, so be it.

I would have said David Rodan was the best thing to come out of Tigerland. I never understood why they dropped their one legitimate match-winning player.

Zero games in 2005 and five in 2006 wouldn't have helped (last two seasons there).
