What a rubbish ground ball spends half the time out of bounds and you see more out on the full than any other ground. Should have been bulldozed years ago

Need our lesser lights to get the ball....

Picket Bedford and Spargo are non existentย

Kozzys uncertainty on the far wing then trying some cute kick around the corner for another turnover.ย  Bloody awful.ย  I would rather gain 40 - 45 meters near the boundary and have the Cats win the 50 / 50 there.ย  Whose playbook is this rubbish?

Fritta just outside 50 decides he cant make it but then kicks it too close to the goal line to give anyone a chance to run on.ย  Also seermingly no signal to say "im going short here" ??

PLAY THE PERCENTAGES/BASICS if you cant make the distance or at least look for a short pass lateral to keep posession until someone makes an option!

a lot of players just not putting in not chasing, not tackling. We know they are going to run, but our players are not running with them.ย  we need our team to step up and put these [censored] down

Please get Viney off the ball he is getting caught every time he takes possession move him forward do something to change the mixย  They are negating our strengths

Goodwin mix it up a bit please

Yep, these guys need to take the first option, not take on the tackler

That development end has worse lights than the Piiron Yallock cricket ground.ย

Inside 50 efficiency - them = 51.9%, us = 25.9%.

We need a proper forwards coach, instead of Stafford doubling up his duties.

Need proper entries. Not the forwards fault we've kicked to direct opponents 10 times

Last weekend we went to watch Myrtleford play, who kick nothing but low darts into forwards for goals,ย  ย our guys kick nothing but pie floaters to pockets for turnovers.

Which one is the afl and which is the o&m ffs

Yes yes and yes. Itโ€™s our obvious need.ย

The comforting thing is that even though we've been sloppy, we're right in this, If we start hitting targets (we've been wayyy off, it's almost like there's a jumper clash!), we'll win this. They're playing at about their best, despite a couple of misses. If we come out breathing fire and nailing passes, we win.ย

Don't care if we lose this now. Love this club.ย

PS - Lets all become fans that boo continually - even though our oppositions tackles never get rewarded & ours do......

Itโ€™s not the forward line, itโ€™s the blokes kicking it to our forward line. 4 times the kick has gone inside 50 straight to a cats player 15m clear of any Melbourne player. Try kicking it to anyone in a red and blue jumper and at least it may get to ground

No,ย  they just head down one side of the ground forces all the players to go into a pack situation, we don't have that type of player, we need to open it up by as it comes in, bb is OK one on one not 6 on one.ย

Our midfield is just starting to warm up. I think we may look off but Geelong are throwing everything and taking a lot of risks by taking the corridor.

It could work for them but more likely to not.

I think. Kossy, Spargo and even more do Bedford need to step up and run harder than in the first half. ย BBb and frittata need to get on a bike as well, ย  Where does the Tour de France go tonight !!

The crowd is too small for Petracca which is why he only has his 9 touches to half time.

Why is Pickett anywhere in the team...wtf does he offer

May...get off and get some confidence

Sparrow is an overhyped player by many, he's not AFL level

Gawn, great to see u back

Nominated for game day post of the round.

poor delivery into our forward line, just booting without looking who to. need to lower their eyes and make sure they hit a target. it would also be nice if a couple of these players could move the ball on quicker. taking too much time to kick down the line gives geelong lots of time to flood back.

Maybe the next multibillion dollar taxpayer funded redevelopment will involve bulldozing the grandstands and making it an adult style width?

Mate the ball isnโ€™t even hitting the pack, itโ€™s hitting the one cats bloke standing by himself 20m away from the pack!

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Gold Coast

On Friday, the Demons return to our Casey Fields fortress where they have a 77% win rate. The scent of September is in the air and the struggling Suns are on the horizon. The Cranbourne weather forecast? Ominous, like the match itself: a strong chance of carnage. Letโ€™s be honest, last weekโ€™s first half against the West Coast was a training drill but we dropped our guard in the final quarter. While this match is a mismatch on paper โ€” second versus seventeenth โ€” football is won in the wind, the contests, and the moments.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #32 Tom Sparrow

The rugged Sparrowโ€™s career appears to have plateaued in recent years. He makes the side on a week to week basis but he is unable to establish a foothold in the teamโ€™s midfield and arguably performs best outside of the contest in a forward position without being a goal kicker. He remains a good honest foot soldier but is not a star.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #33 Tom Fullarton

Fullarton managed a couple of games in the first half of the season but soon found himself back in the VFL. There, he found a niche at centre half back but it was not enough to retain a place on the list at seasonโ€™s end.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #35 Harrison Petty

Entering 2025, it looked as if Petty would be secured in a defensive position, but plans shifted and he spent more time forward, averaging just over a goal per game throughout the season. It remains uncertain which area of the ground he will be expected to cover under the new coaching regime.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The dynamic small forward, possessing an innate ability to generate excitement with his explosive play around the goals, successfully transitioned into a role that afforded him more time in the midfield. The club also negotiated a long-term deal with Pickett, thereby eliminating any prospect of a move west by their star young player.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #37 Kade Chandler

For a few years now, he has been a reliable, hard working pressure forward, but in 2025, Chandler elevated his performance, becoming an integral component of the team with enough versatility to play effectively on a wing from time to time.
