Got the nervous nellies. Not confident.

Was the MFC still a 'sporting section' of the MCC at this time? Perhaps the MCC library may have some records.

Crows playing the better team game. JHF needs to stop playing as 'JHF' and actually watch the ball.

Angus Brayshaw Forced into Retirement
Fritta and Turner replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
TBH neither have I but I have seen max give Nankervis a whack off the ball. Tobes didnt like it but obviously deserved it. -
Angus Brayshaw Forced into Retirement
Fritta and Turner replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I reckon we should honour Angus by winning the game. Thats it. -
Or was it last weekend? Has he played all 7 this year? Anyway I was stunned when May said he wanted to play for the Dees - players don't do that. Forever gratefull. And his interactions with team mates is fun to watch. Go Maysie.

The Drums are starting to beat for North
Fritta and Turner replied to Sir Why You Little's topic in Melbourne Demons
May and Gawn are 32 and Viney 30?. They are getting towards the end of their careers but the word 'soon' may be premature. If they were at Geelong would be considered youngsters. -
Ah can I sir please? 😃 Seriously Fritta plays timid? (I have a vested interest - the avatar is Fritta standing the mark). In one sense for his size he has to. He tried the well timed bump against one of the Lions and ended up on his posterior.

After watching a number of games over the weekend I think most other games would take HP in the blink of an eye

Can we call the Hawthorn rebuild a fail? Hawthorn Roos here we come?

Against the Cats, can we use our sub to manage a player like we did with Windsor? (and off topic but why isnt the game producing power forwards anymore?)

By half time I was yelling at the telly and had half the team subbed off

I thought Max was best, Turner great, Windsor keeps on trying... but what was that first half.. Laurie made the most of his limited opportunities. Go Dees

Who do you remember/ honour?
Fritta and Turner replied to leave it to deever's topic in Melbourne Demons
Luckily most of my family came back but 2 of my Nannas cousins rest in Flanders fields. My Grandfather was shot through the neck on the Western Front and repatriated home. His brother went to Gallipoli and came back a broken man. My father served in the RAAF in the SW Pacific. My uncle went into captivity at the fall of Singapore. They do cross my mind. Lest we forget. -
yep and it hasnt changed
