    this is 100% structural. we do the same [censored] thing every single time. EVERY SINGLE TIME. we then get absolutely smoked on the transition against decent teams. This is a football lesson.

    Goodwin is out of his element coaching at AFL level. This is 90s-era football being coached in a completely different football era.

This is a concept that should resonate with all supporters of the Melbourne Football Club this morning as they reflect on its comprehensive 83-point victory over the struggling West Coast Eagles at Marvel Stadium. The outcome proved beyond doubt that they are the worst of clubs and that we are the best of the worst.
