I will stand by my post earlier in the year we still will not make finals again. Again we have crucial Injuries to key personal, the stars again seem not to be aligning for us.... just like since 1964.

Another silly Darwin game in smack bang in the middle of Winter will kill us more than we think. I smell another burnt out like last year and in 2016. I can’t see us winning many games to finish off the year.

Its astonishing, how a club can stuff up so much and continue to be laughing stock.

Until this club decides like Geelong did in 2007 to mean something and change, its the MFC of old.

You know we haven't 'stuffed' up yet, right?

So you're astonishment is somewhat misplaced...

I helped coined the term 'MFC Supporter Syndrome' and knew that different forms of it would follow as we got better but this is ridiculous.

10 rounds to go, champ.

Hope your nerves can handle it.

FFS... It’s going to be a long 9 days until the Port game. People on this joint need to chill the f&$k out. We weren’t going to go undefeated for the rest of the year... One loss in 7 weeks and everyone loses their mind.

Again, these posts would have a lot more credibility if they popped up during our six week winning streak.  If you written this then, you could have said that ‘Despite the excellent form, is see a worrying trend....’ etc.  That would have made this a lot more insightful and less like a bit of bandwagoning flaggelation.

People make bold predictions after big wins and big losses, but ultimately lose sight of the big picture.

The writing is on the wall failed to beat 4 top 8 sides this year bad, plus our form is begging to spiral south fast. The signs of this fade out were there against the dogs go figure

We’ve played 4 top 8 sides.

2 of them beat us convincingly.

We lost one by less than a goal.

We convincingly beat the 4th.

Haha, not sure if you post this in jest. Your words remind me of an elderly Melbourne chap at the game on Monday who kept carrying on about how bad the team is to me in front of my 3 year old boy. While it was a disappointing performance you have had a couple of days to get over things, surely barracking for the worst performing club of the past decade you dont rely on our on field performance to feel better about the week?

We will win the premiership, one bad loss won't make our season.

We will bounce back against Port and go undefeated for the rest of the season.

Bring in Baker and Petty and watch us fly.

TAKE THAT DEEFELLA

GO THE MIGHTY DEES!

For the time being deefella, we are 8-4. If we are to miss the finals this year, there will be plenty of time for us all to air our MFCSS grievances.

But until such point in time, try to stay optimistic.

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
