Its clearly a week for looking like a [censored]...Mark Z says hello?

Malcolm sings..... something ?

Not only is Max not included he, more or less, has Jarrod Witts as the one pushing to get in to the top 8.

Then he goes on to say that the reason Martin was so good was the absence of Ryder and the reason Nik Nat was so good was the fact he played mainly against Blicsavs who rarely plays in the ruck now.

Max had great figures on the weekend against a very good and former AA ruckman in Goldy, the others were playing against part timers and Max would have had 100 taps against that opposition, provided there were that many contests, of course.

It won't take our words to show the football World he is an idiot, his own words condemn him to that.

He would be back to back All Australian if not for injury.

Currently sitting third in the coaches votes and dominating games.

Not in the top 8 ruckmen in the comp.

Ok then.

Seriously, I cannot understand why some get so outraged. It has no bearing on Max’s rucking ability and no bearing on how he is perceived by his teammates or opposition... so what’s the big deal?  An incompetent journalist? It’s not as if a new species has suddenly been discovered; it’s a part of the job description.

There are no words. Does he not have an editor that has to read and check the article?

That is an embarrassing fail that should never have made print.

I'm not outraged. I find it funny.

I take nothing from the media as being particularly relevant to my well being ;)

Yeah but the Robbo would be 'chief football writer' of 2 papers.

Not sure the Australian public is ready for the drunken one to have an even wider reach.

what can you expect from the age for sports journalism

they don't even have the evening sports scores anymore.....hopeless, especially considering the increasing number of night games across many sports

Look from that that this weekends clash between Max and McEvoy should be a cracker.

He admitred that it was a mistake and simply forgot to include him.

But how? It would be like forgetting Ben Simmons in NBA Rookie of the Year contention.

Wait... what!?

Is that the level of research and preparation that goes into these articles??

If my boss saw that, I'd be out on the streets by close of business.

However... even is he is that shoddy in his preparation, where was his editor in all of this?

So Max does not rate. Mmmmm.

I guess this is what happens when the media scrum is so large, that it includes and publishes opinions with even LESS common sense than some we see here on Demonland.

He's admitted he made a 'mistake'  However I'm not sure how you could write the article and make that mistake.

Although I did get a speeding fine at 1am the other day on a road I've driven a million times so I guess it does happen

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
