Buggy's kicking for goal is absolutely atrocious. I'm a massive fan, but he absolutely has to sort that out yesterday.

Just like last year, Bugg misses what he needs to kick.

Hogan having a cracker. Big 2nd half coming up.

In slippery conditions, that was a great first half.

Everything we struggled with last week has been improved.  We've been more efficient going forward, our backline has worked superbly and we've more than broken even in the midfield.

The one big thing that stands out are our high half forwards - Melksham, ANB and Garlett are all having much, much better games than last week and you can see the difference that it makes.

Now we need to finish them off and win the game by 10 goals!

Jones no, Harmes yes.

Harmes, Bugg and Wagner bottom three easily.

That chase by Hogan one of the best things he’s done at AFL level, superb.

3:3 to 2:3 that quarter ... a tad disappointing but I'll take it after last week

The humidity will slow us down in the second half so I would like to see a 5 goal to 2 third quarter so we have some breathing space for the last.

I hope they don’t get over confident, after all it’s only Brisbane. Still at the same time I hope it gets them into the winning feeling. Ps Hogan is my new crush.

Bugg and Tyson need to learn how to kick

They shouldn't have to learn on game day. They should be learning at training or at Casey. It isn't good enough at this level. Tyson's kicking, turnovers and lack of awareness hurt us as a side too often. Bugg just plain and simply is a sh*t kick.

True Steve, it was poor.

I must admit that I didn't see you posting when one his kicks hit ANB lace out for a goal.

Swings and roundabouts I guess, eh?

Oh you mean the target he missed, but luckily there was a player behind who was in great position to mark.

That one was good.

If the moron maggots don't do something about a "pushing in danger rule" someone is going to get a broken neck....

How many times do i have to say it, and it happens in every game.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the
