The 2017 Keith "Bluey" Truscott Memorial Trophy is being held tonight at the Palladium Ballroom at Crown Casino.

It will be streamed live on Monday night.  http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2017-10-05/best-and-fairest-live-stream

In past years I keenly watch this thread for updates from people that are there or watch the club twitter feed.

Will enjoy seeing it live.

Great initiative by the club.

Who do you think will take out the Bluey?

Should it be 2017 or have a missed something? Thanks for posting the link, it will be interesting to see how plastered Hibberd gets.

WOW!  You slept thru the 2018 season and missed the Dees 13th Premiership^_^??

Thanks ET...getting ahead of myself!

The option to edit the title isn't available so need to wait till the mods can fix.

Cheers

Not a good idea. We haven't done the deal with Adelaide yet we don't want to get them even more angry.

If they get too angry he just walks....i think?

Hibberd, Oliver and Jetta and then daylight  for the rest.

I was going to take issue at that, then remembered that all of Jones, Hogan, Watts, Viney and Gawn copped injuries.

Garlett deserves a mention as not quite the other side of fresh air. Did well for a small forward in a depleted forward line. His terrific start (20 goals and 35 tackles in the first 8 rounds) was undercut a bit by his inconsistency later in the season.

Would be great to see Nev finally get some recognition for his amazing work.

Agree with the order, but am hoping for an Oliver win.

Hey Petrac

Do you think that Clayton looks like or bit like the Great Norm Smith ? He might be our future coach.    Don't shoot me down just saying.

Would love a report from people inside the room on a few matters.

What the vibe is like in the room in particular with all this business around Watts

How Watts is tonight

also are the players still hurting after stuffing up r23

How Hogan is after everything he's been through this year

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
