Maynard out way out of his depth.

Thought he worked his way into the game really well.

For me it would be...

Melk - susp

Peders and Frost out...

Hannan, Stretch and ? in

Tommy Mac back, Watts to relieve in ruck (gets more involved with a run in the ruck), small forward line better than the mish mash we had today.

Apparently he's likely to be suspended

Why?   What did some of us miss? Was watching in a pub without sound

To disappointed to write and decent comments at this juncture, where has our intensity around the ball gone!!!!!

Those calling watts out I understand, but he was better than pedo who offered nothing, and he got better. Get him in as relief ruck, he needs to be around the ball.

Badly needed run, reckon we missed Hannan. What's going on with Hunt?

He's stopped running and Petracca has stopped kicking.

Frost, Watts, Hunt all poor. They weren't alone either

Hunt gets a pass as he has been ok recently. But who do we bring in? No talls to speak of

I don't remember a kick from Nathan jones that didn't go straight to a giants player. Was just really dumb footy by us today

No point making massive changes, just shuffling deck chairs. We need continuity and more height up forward so Weeds I suspect will come in for Watts, who seems set for a VFL run. Pedo may go otherwise. Brayshaw for Melksham is probably the only straight swap I can think of.

Wats has to go.

He has reverted to his pre 2016 self.  And that means we are playing  a man down each week.

So disappointing to see how bad hes been.

Hannan, Brayshaw and JKH to come in. Watts, Pederson and Harmes out. I doubt we will see Pedo again and If Goidwin is fair dinkum he will send Watts a message, delivered at the end of his boot.

Thought the same thing about dropping Frost and putting TMac back.

Would consider picking Weid.

I didn't get to see the game as I was watching Casey play but if the MFC need to bring in a KPP, going off his last month and especially today's game, Keilty might be a sneak for a debut.

I know I'm biased, but he was unbelievable today, played both forward and back and dominated both positions. Was easily the best game he has ever played.

Can't hurt to give the kid a game, he may be just what we need.

Casey is full of players that when they played in the firsts, most here were happy to see the back of.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
