Onwards and upwards

Would be nice for Carlton to lose to Adelaide and perhaps a few reports. Don't want to face another team who has just found its mojo

West Coast V Bulldogs is the last chance saloon perhaps for those two clubs for this season.

GWS v Geelong should be a real cracker. Great to see that it is on free to air and not the Port v Tiges which is a big test for the Toigs

Noticed that we dropped below Richmond. I want port to beat them and beat them well.

I wish there was some power that I had so brisbane could beat the bummers.

GWS and geelong will be interesting.

Crows already 4 goals up.  We need them to win so the Blues' finals chances are 100% snuffed out and it will take away a little incentive for their season.  With the injuries we have we need all the small wins we can get for the next few weeks.

Another good results for us would be Freo to beat StK - They would both be a game and % behind us.

And, WCE (8th) leading Bulldogs (10th) @ half time.  Eagles bad kicking is keeping Bulldogs in the game.  If Bulldogs lose they will probably drop to 11th making it really difficult to make the 8.

Now, where is this magic wand to make Brisbane beat Essendon...

Looks like Betts a handy forward for the Blues......oh!

Crows running away with it now, but make no mistake unless we get a few back next week against the blues will be tricky.

Good bet unfortunately, its worth it even if its only to cash out when odds change, which they must surely be about to.

Suns smashing North. Good! hopefully a few other teams smash them and they give up on the season before facing us in round 19. (yep, that's the only thing I can get out of this game.)

No optimism from you, Clint?  That's so unlike you...

Well we are two for two this weekend - Blues got rolled to keep them well out of the hunt, and pretty much out of finals contention, while the Dogs getting rolled was excellent as well.  I reckon Freo are a chance at home and I will bow down to every God that is worshipped if the Lions pull off an upset over Essendon... but I don't think our luck will stretch that far!

As much as we all loathe Frankenstein, I hope GW$ crush Geelong tonight

One plays three and no crowd .... what have the AFL done

That being said I hope the Orange Men win ... simply because a win by them is almost irrelevant to my emotional state.

A Port win over the Tigers by a couple of goals or more would see us end the Round in 5th spot.

We will be 6th at worse.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
