Some definite flaws and errors but a great TEAM win. But boy, when we play our game it is bloody good to watch. Huge 3rd quarter from Viney, great intensity over the ground and some real excitement from our forwards.

And the Bummers are really poor. Bog ordinary.  And personally despising the Bummers I am even happier.

Hunt had the fumbles today, wasn't great.

He has had a fumbly month. He has a huge upside but often fumbles when pickong the ball up in traffic, unlike Oliver whose hands are amazing. But he makes you watch him - a real crowd magnet.

I only recall seeing one half of that game. I assume I suffered some kind of brain trauma at around half time because I can't remember anything before that.

Was practicing his goal kicking at half time and was still missing them. Kicks as well as he looks, bloody awful

Was embarrassing for him. He's a spud of the highest order.

He is so overrated.

Our intensity was good all game just the turnovers horrific in the first half.

But we persisted and out worked them in the end, Bombers don't like it tough and I thought our tackling and pressure cracked them open.

I called him a spud on Bigfooty and got hounded by fans of all clubs. He is a massive downhill skier and gets a game on his height alone. Not a dumb footballer but not particularly smart either.

It's called transient global amnesia. Don't worry it doesn't have any lasting effects.

WATT happens when you play more direct football with a heap more kicks than handballs and don't play WATTS in the ruck for long stints, preferrably not at all. And you don't have a wet kid who isn't ready yet trying to play a tall forward role and leaving us one short up forward and can't play in the ruck either....Watts again.  Welcome back Pedders. Job done.

We smashed the drug cheats.  Oh what a feeling.

14 goals combined from Petracca, Watts, Garlett and Hannan.  Delicious.

With two of our own drug cheats.

Really? I thought he was good.

Jason Dunstall is great as special comments too.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
