Oliver being himself. Viney having a shocker. Viney could lose his spot after this game. He is no where near up to scratch.

Hahahahaha.

Oh wait, you're serious?

Watch the replay if you aren't taking note  and work out goals against who you are playing on.

Then accept it.

Garland is awful.Omac no star but provides rebound run and can do a defensive job. Not basing this just on tonight. Garland has been terrible for quite some time and has no future.

Dont see why Brayshaw is praised so easily, and Viney dropped? Take it easy! It will rain soon.

I agree with Brayshaw - he hasn't had it a lot, and apart from one bad kick early in the game, he's had a hand in a few goals while getting one himself.  Both McDonalds had a better second term after a tough start, too.  It's hard when you turn the ball over at half forward and they run it down there with ease.

Yep, I just enjoyed seeing brayshaw look comfortable out there and go on hard.  He looked spaced last year after injuries.

And I agree about the Macs. I think they get a hard time around here because honestly, whenever anyone else mucks up they are the ones on the receiving end. But Oscar laid a nice take that wrapped the player up showing an increase in body strength from last year.

As you said though, Oliver bog at the moment.

Agree with all of that.

I think the knocks on the Mac's disposal is valid in some respects, but, you only need to watch Tom clunk some great marks across half back to see his value to the side.  Oscar will only continue to improve as well, and when our midfield provides the right support they look good.

I don't think we can carry Weid into round 1. Just has no impact.

Agree the Weed isn't ready - hasn't done much for the 3 games so far. I reckon T Mac has been great - we would be buggered without him.

Take Harmes and ANB out of that side, and we'd cut back on a lot of these turnovers that are gifting them possessions.

Harsh, but true.  They've cost us at least 3 goals to this point.

Hope they give JT a good run in the second half - come on Goodwin.

? Silly.

some old skill errors, mistakes, turn overs and loose opp fwds taking marks.

We work so hard to get a goal, and then they get one right back.

Oliver is awesome. Gawn ruck work amazing.

How melbourne were out to $4 for this game is also weird.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
