Those who want to watch today's MFC training session will not only have to brave the city's wet and erratic weather but also the tennis crowds around Swan Street.

Location change for Friday training session

My question without notice is who are we most likely to spot first at Gosch's Paddock:-

(a) Heritier Lumumba;

(b) Dean Kent;

(c) Nick Kyrgios; or

(d) none of the above

More likely to find him in a Lygon Street cafe or at St. Kilda beach.

Whilst I have never seen Salvatore the Yarra seal, Johnathen L. Seagull will be easily recognisable at Gosch's.

Look  for the bird out on its own that doesn't seem to fit in with other Seagulls.

To anyone who goes down today can i please can an update on Weideman is going? Hate to really put pressure on the kid but really hope he steps it up and plays 12-16. The Weideman Hogan is so important in the coming years for us to become a genuine premiership threat.

It's as if you're discussing characters from a 1960's American sitcom set in World War II. Pity we don't still have Schwartz and Neitz on the list.

Wouldn't that be Harry O'Seagull?

Kent out for 5-6 weeks with a back injury apparently.

Mentioned by Shannon Byrnes to someone at training.

thanks for the info

its a real pity to lose Kent but better it happens now than in March.

Kent will join Tyson in being a potential non-starter for round one but at least he's had a good block of pre-season done

Back injuries suck, esp as they can be linked to hammies so if hes back in 6 weeks id be delighted

wow. another hammy related injury for Kent. That's not good. he is one of our genuine line breakers, and we don't have that many.

No disrespect Dub, but we've gone from a rumour that 'stuie' heard/read about Kent's back (source unconfirmed, possibly via Facebook) , to you jumping to issues about his hamstrings, to this...

Perfect opportunity for JKH to make a statement. Nowhere near as explosive as Kent going on exposed form, but if he's going to find himself in the team, it has to be in this role.
