Realistically, we will probably only see one change:

In:  Hogan

Out:  Pedersen

That's not a knock on Pedersen, but if Hogan is right to go then he plays.  I reckon Weideman will probably get at least one more week in the seniors.

Even if we'd lost, no way Weeds gets dropped on that performance.

Every kick of Weideman was a goal. No other player in the history of the AFL/VFL can boast that!

Why not?  It's not a negative thread.

I just can't understand why people want to all of a sudden start talking about which players will be going out, five seconds after the players who did play brought us probably the best win we've had in 15 years.

No change. I don't care if Hogan is fit.

After a performance like that it is hard to see any change that was not injury related.

Honestly after a win like that how could you tap anyone on the shoulder and tell them they are out. The boys played as a complete unit, roll with no change.

Hogan can wait another week.

Garlett still is a concern. Does very little weeks on end.

JKH got 4 goals for Casey and NB had 36 possessions. Surely both could be considered (or Salem)?

Garlett is badly out of form. Harmes stays in by the skin of his teeth, love his endeavour but God he butchers the ball more often than not.

I really like this in principle.

The reality after listening to Roos' presser is that if Hogan is fit, he will come in. It's a matter of who will make way.

Was he playing on Breust today? If so, mixed bag of a game. Broke an important tackle at half forward to set up one of our goals early in the game, then made some really poor mistakes later,

IN: HOGAN

OUT: GARLETT

Garlett's too one dimensional if he's not kicking goals he does nothing, he needs to show some form in the VFL. Pedersen should stay but I'm worried we may be too tall having Watts, Hogan, Weideman and Pedersen in the same forward line.

Pederson gives us heaps. Every time he comes him he adds another dimension and unlike Hogan doesn't just look for frees . Hogan will come good, but atm,  I would keep going with the current lineup.

Barring injury, I reckon that will be it.

Pedo would be very stiff in this case. He would be out for team balance alone.

Garlett would be back in the magoos to get some form. I reckon we need to take a look at JKH for a couple of games to see if he is worth persisting with.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
