Defence is horrible. Every time they have the ball they hit up easy marks the whole way down the field. Getting outdone in run and spread in the same way we used to under Neeld.  An absolute reflection of effort, and says we came into this expecting and easy win. Outcoached and outclassed. Forward pressure non-existent. This seriously wreaks of a Roos game. Absolutely bog it down and floor your own forward line. Ugly to watch but gee, we lack intent and class. Nothing going our way. Their ability to find space is quite telling.

Seriously if we keep playing like this the  whole Paul Roos investment has been a waste of money. Still playing like a team turning up to lose, with no desperation or desire to tear the game away from their opponent. Almost an entire list turnover and the culture is no better.

How? Essendon look like they're controlling the game...with all the chip kicks and uncontested marks. Very different to last years game where we kicked ourselves out of it. Essendon are just playing better football.
