Fark im glad i didn't cough up the hard earned for a membership this year. Got to show more than that fella's.

Save your money SRJ. I wouldn't give this pathetic club a cent. They can have my membership back.

Wrap it up.

Inability to actually present and hit a target is a massive, massive concern.

One of the most embarrassing loses ive seen against a 2nd rate outfit.

Wow...just wow..

Just pathetic Melbourne

Lost for words

F a r k Melbourne u never cease to amaze me.

FMD pathetic.

Absolutely humiliating

I am flabbergasted...

Players are just lazy. Win one game and they are a bunch of prima donnas.  Watching this crap just ruins weekends.

131 marks to 68 says it all

Must be easy to win with 3 extra players on the ground.

[censored] off you drug cheating assholes. Probably going to be their only win for the year and it just had to be us. [censored] off Melbourne.

[censored] [censored]!!

I can't believe that we are this pathetic

From the AFL match feed:

All of Essendon's goals have come from intercept possessions in this match.

[censored] it's hard supporting this club..

not just game over, season over

Scratch that...
Why am I even surprised? We are the flakiest team I have seen since the Dockers before Ross Lyon showed up.

Mark Neeld feeling happy with himself then on screen

Wow. I speak for a living and can't find words for this.

I know we will lose some games we thought we would win and win some I thought we would lose, but never did I think we could not beat Essendon in 2016.

I feel embarrassed.

  • PREVIEW: Brisbnae

They really had me fooled when I picked them with great confidence to beat the Bombers at Gather Round last week. I should have recognised that nothing is more quintessentially Melbourne than defeating the undefeated early premiership favourite one week and losing to a winless cellar dweller on its way to establishing a record losing streak the next.

Melbourne’s much vaunted finishing power evaporated at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, exposed for the third time in four years by its Essendon Gather Round hoodoo.
