Robbo tweeted some one died a while ago and that the family was being contacted.

what a [censored]. Wait until it's announced, any one reading that that knew a Brownlow medalist would have freaked out. I'm actually a little surprised he didn't just tweet who it was.

Paul Couch's son Tom was recruited by Melbourne in the 2012 Rookie Draft, with pick number 24. He made his senior debut with Melbourne in round 16, 2012, against Fremantle at Docklands Stadium and played 3 games.
 
While playing with the Casey Scorpions in 2012, Couch won the Gardiner Clark Medal as the Scorpions best and fairest. He  also came second in the 2012 Liston Trophy and moved back to Collingwood VFL after he was delisted at the end of 2013.

Always freaks me right out when somebody dies suddenly who is younger than i am

heard him interviewed on radio a couple of times. Came across as a really decent bloke. 

The '89 GF is still the best game of Footy i have watched as a pure game. Has everything & Couchy was right in the middle of it wearing The Brownlow...

Amazing how this happens at a young age to some who have had a period of incredible fitness 

Can any physiologists / medics explain?  Can it be prevented?

Poor Couchy  was a garbo, then a car salesman,  then ran for parliament for The National Party.

You couldn't accuse him of being a socail climber.

Condolences to the Couch family.  

Very sad news and was shocked when i heard this morning

makes you think when you realise not much older than myself and out cycling on a Saturday morning

    TRAINING: Wednesday 22nd January 2025

    Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force for training at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday morning for the MFC's School Holidays Open Training Session. DEMONLAND'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS REHAB: TMac, Chandler, McVee, Tholstrup, Brown, Spargo Brown might have passed his fitness test as he’s back out with the main group.  Sparrow not present. Kozzy not present either.  Mini Rehab group has broken off from the match sim (contact) group: Max, Trac, Lever, Fullarton

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

    Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on.     There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition.     A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
