I'd take him in an instant. Hopefully has a couple of decent years left. Noted goal kicker, good ball user, has footy "smarts" & runs rings around any small forward we have apart from Garlett.

Thankfully we are past needing to recruit guys like Stokes. He has well and truly looked past it this year and the Cats not offering him a new deal is reflective of that.

Is this what we are back to? The good old days of 2012-2013 when any player who got delisted or who retired becomes a supposed target of the MFC (according to some on here)?
And some thought bringing Shagger Byrnes and David Rodan to the club was a good idea too.... :huh::rolleyes:

I really liked Cross but Kelly is quicker and a much better user off half back so I don't see the merit in that comment.

Interestingly, he said even if Geelong offered him a new contract he'd turn it down.

Chris Scott is pissing off a few people at the moment.
