A random question, which i thought i'd ask here rather than start a new thread.

I'll be in Berlin for a few weeks from next week. Does anyone have some ideas about the best way to watch footy overseas (oe ven in Berlin). I checked out the AFL site and it is $12 a week for live games which is ludicrous (how moronic is that in terms of promoting the sport - it should be free!). I have an AFL live pass which enables tablet live viewing and access to replays but i assume i will get geo blocked.

Thanks in advance for ideas.

Reckon these blokes'd know:

Let us know if you find a place. I'll be doing the same over there next month.

Have seen Toumpas put his body on the line a few times over the last month.

Have seen Terlich pick and choose when to go in the past

He goes hard at the agate - only to see it go back over his head. Not much point really.

An interesting/strange bench: I/C: Billy Stretch, Viv Michie, Aidan Riley, Alex Neal-Bullen

Special moment for ANB and Stretch when they go out together (and when they relay the ball down the middle to get ANB his first goal!)

Let's hope they do better than the previous two best mates to run out on to the ground together for the MFC (Trengove and Tapscott).

I like the changes as the Saints' strength is their midfield and we've brought in basically five mids to help counter this. We still have more than enough quality, on paper, to beat them. Have a good feeling that we will.

That's a pretty hectic question mark to question ratio.

Glad to see Stretch and grimes back. Interested to see what Bullen can do. Gee I hope we can win.

Just another fact. It was a year ago this weekend we beat the bummers in that awesome game. I still like watching that last play where salem kicked the sealer. How we miss him off the half back.

It's Neal-Bullen. 'Neal' is not a middle name. As a person with a double-barrelled surname, that stuff is important. :P I like the rest of the post though.

Fitzy dropped from the 18 into an emergency? ouch. We look pretty undersized now, then again the Saints are too. Could mean Pedo goes back at times, and Watts goes forward. Thinking Stretch should be sub unless he's improved his fitness a lot from last time he was in the team

McDonald will play on Riewoldt and Dunn will take Bruce. Howe and Grimes will probably take those mid size type forwards (Grimes on Membrey for example) and that will have it covered. We've made the mistake before of going in too tall and I think this week we've got the mix just right.

We're actually fortunate that Gilbert and Markworth have relegated Schneider and Sinclair back to the rookie list this week. Scheider's had a really good year, and Sinclair's a good young player.

For the 1st time this year we've got the right balance of talls and smalls in the backline. I'd play Watts at half back and Howe in the forward line again. And thank christ Fitzpatrick's out. A bewildering selection last week.

Whilst I think we've improved the balance of talls in our side, I'm surprised Fitzy has been pulled from the 18. They have Riewoldt, Bruce and Membrey in the side. Membrey's only 188 but to me he'd have been perfect for Dunn to run off. Instead, we have to put Dunn on Bruce, giving up a 5cm height advantage, and who plays on Membrey (without Garland)? Howe's gone forward, so Grimes?

Is the 2nd part 'Koff'?

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
