Can't remember the last flag won in June.

Richmond, like us are headcases.

Plenty of time for the wheels to fall off.

We beat Richmond didn't we?

Yes and it was their home game!

They just made a fool out of you and beat a side thats won 9 in a row and right on their home turf.

Who cares if they are beating those sides. Atleast they are winning. Taking the game on with quick ball movement. None of this kick backwards or sideways to slow the play down.. they were daring tonight and i enjoyed watching them.

I would still take their performance over ours this year.

They didn't just run & gun 'dazzle' and often held the play up looking for a good option. What they did when they found the option though is hit the target.

I'm still not convinced by the Tiges but they were good tonight.

Credit where due Richmond applied itself, played well, stuck to its task, denied Freo their customary game , kicked straight and won (away). Pretty hard to fault that......and then theres us !!!

FMD! I had a ton Freo last night. Full time half time double @ $1.42.

It seemed a good bet at the time! FMD.

You have to wonder, did Lyon do it to take off the pressure of no losses all season.....just a thought.

I agree. I wouldn't feel too bad about the loss yesterday if I were a Freo supporter

prefer to own Collingwood but its a consolation to lord it over those too :)

Trade it for consistency though.

Agreed, but you've gotta milk whatever you can as an MFC supporter, right down to the last drop. Having the wood over Essendon and to a lesser degree Richmond falls into that category.

The difference between us and Richmond is that they retain their confidence after a win, play some good footy until they get ahead of themselves and crash back to earth. After a win our confidence only lasts until the next opposition run on.

I usually avoid putting anything on Friday games. Very rarely has it ever ended well for me. Edited by Maple Demon

I enjoy Eddie commentating Carlton games. He knows their history, and wants them to be strong and proud so he can hate them again. Not the new-age schaudenfreude, over-grown school boy rival fan that you see everywhere.

Judd gone with what appears to be a bad knee injury.

There has been a real sense of confidence around the richmond footy club all week, it's amazing the change from after losing to us

Wow, watch this video and look at the commentators talking up Rances courage, instead of Ellis's.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
