THE SAGA CONTINUES - WADA APPEALS

Recommended Posts

Never forget that the Hird camp have tried to destroy us over the last 24 hours.

Never forget that Mark Robinson of the Herald Sun let it happen and gave them the platform for it, then tried to dig up dirt on us in a shallow attempt to take the heat off the pathetic club he worships.

Geelong supporters wont forget , and nor should we.

If you have Twitter let the fat bald [censored] know what you think. [censored] Mark Robinson and [censored] the tabloid Herald Sun.

The fact is that Dank was a conman and three clubs were dumb enough to get get conned. All were looking at getting the stuff that others were getting. The only difference was that one of the club's had a coach who took the view that whatever it takes. The 3rd club had a dumb doctor who thought he was at the cutting edge. He was conned and forgot what he had learned at med school in regard to ethical medicine medicine. He could have done a lot of damage.

Good get...it is worth spelling out the exchange:

@BMcLean_Ally @Robbo_heraldsun cheeky voicemail left by him yesterday sniffing around for a story on the dees! #writearealstory

biQJ9Vtf_bigger.jpegMark Robinson @Robbo_heraldsun 22m22 minutes ago
  • @jamesmag23 cheeky? Why go to Twitter and not ring me back. All I was going to ask was: did you get injections in the stomach...

What a low act by Robbo...Hirds 'ambulance chaser'?

Is Robbo so dumb that he needs to ask Magna: 'Why go to Twitter and not ring me back'

Well done for Magna for exposing this low act!

Just wondering why he would have made a specific question about the location of the injection. Do they know the TB4 injections are done into the stomach (because that's where they got theirs)?

Can't see how any of our performances have been enhanced since 2012.

Yeah, anyone who thinks the Dees have been on performance-enhancing drugs has clearly done way too much LDS back in the sixties ...:lol::unsure:

Like you, Red?

I know there's this thing about 'if you can remember the 60s you weren't there' but this might be taking proof of your credentials too far.

Loved Sellars remarks to Slobbo on 360 talking about his bad back incurred playing football, something like "how did you get yours fall off a bar stool?"

This comment (in response to why he didn't return the call) from Mags is gold:

jamesmagner@jamesmag23 1m1 minute ago

@Robbo_heraldsun I'm a busy man and only got the voicemail today! Not a huge fan of your work so there's no point in calling you back...

Haha even Brock McLean, James Kelly and Nathan Carroll were getting in on the action. Not very well liked amongst the players is that drunk weasel Robbo

He is not a [censored] he is a slimy disgusting piece of work. Deliberately targeting Magner as he had appeared to have left the Dees unhappy and then quickly dropped in to Ess this preseason. Horrible muck racker trying to push this story off onto others.

Nail. Head.

Didn't have much time for Magner before this but hat's off to him. His response was gold..

Robbo is a bloody disgrace. Sounds and looks as if he is drunk on stage. How does someone as professional as Gerald Whatley even bear to appear with him.

And congratulations to James Magner for his responses. Well done.

If you're paid to provide information and opinions in a public forum I would have thought it would be best to appear with people who make you appear smarter, better informed and more articulate. The better question is why does Mark Robinson put himself in a position which makes him look dumber, less well informed and inarticulate? I've probably answered my own question.

Interesting to hear Brendon Goddard's savage attack on the "cowards" who leaked the transcripts. And the players are also very [censored] off that they were sledged by GWS players last game over this issue. Given that Team Tird are the prime suspects for the leaks, how will the players respond next game? It appears to me the intent of the leaks could be to drag other clubs like us and Geelong to further muddy the waters. If so it may have been an enormous miscalculation by Team Tird if he is still trying to cling to power or else a diabolical tactic to force the clubs hand. All depends on what Tird's end game plan is.

Why do you think James Hird or his supporters are the "prime suspects for the leaks"? I would have thought the prime suspect was the manager of a player trying to extract something from Essendon such as agreement to a trade. Player managers using the media to pressure or even threaten clubs is not an unknown modus operandi.

Yes another possibility. I base my opinion that since the leaks were published by the Hun who throughout this saga have been all the way with Hird. And Hird appears to have a track record of leaking throughout this saga to the Hun. Edited by america de cali

Well it hasn't been asada or wada.... remember asada had the afp and deloitte investigate if the leaks came from them and they hadn't. Afl and essendon are the culprits. Just as bad as each other it would seem.

Essendon should probably start to realise that the afl have been on their side from day 1 - even sending hirdy os for a year has been so they look like theyve punished essendon in the eyes of asada/wada etc

The tragedy of MacBeth. Nobleman and warrior meets three sports scientists who prophesy that he will one day be coach of Essendon, and then premiership coach! MacBeth knifes the extant coach, but in his quest for power, his fear and paranoia causes him to turn on his own confidantes and supporters. Urged on by his wife, his catalogue of crimes grows until finally, when Windy Hill comes to Tullamarine airport, he meets his downfall. Beware of McDevitt!

Might I suggest Caroline Wilson, Mick Warner and Mark Robinson?

Robbo is the fine upstanding man who last year wrote a scoop article revealing the names of 14 of the Essendon players, and in the very same issue of the paper wrote an opinion piece lamenting that players' names had been leaked.

Yet he has the gall to call label some others as hypocrites!! Pot. Kettle. Robbo

Surely it is the club doctor at the club that actually used the stuff, who strangely still appears unscathed by AHPRA (Medical Board successor), who forgot all aspects of medical ethics, especially as espoused in the Helsinki Declaration on Human Medical Experimantation. Bruce needs at make a statement!

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
