Still hate norf but only have to put up with them for one more week hopefully.

Exactly. They won't get any further. I just couldn't have coped with Essendon getting through.

the only time ive cheered when Lindsay Thomas got a free for ducking the head. I thought essendon were going to run away with it. Daniher was cutting them up and Petrie was useless until the final 10 minutes. Brilliant 2 goals. So happy to see them out. Now Bomber can just walk away and say to hirdy its all yours.

if you want something funny to read head over to bomberblitz

Bomber blitz is a real hoot tonight. When Hirdy comes back he'll make them mentally tougher apparently. Well he's had a crack at making them physically enhanced, the next step is obviously the mind.

They will probably go with electrodes to the head. Seem to have been a pretty accepting bunch at the bombers, can't see that being an issue.

Yeah, how about electro shock therapy? I'm sure Hirdy's had plenty of free time in France to think of new and exciting ways to cheat the system.

I couldn't bring myself to watch two teams that I hate last night. However, have to admit I was hoping that Norf would get rolled simply to deny whinger Harvey the chance of playing a final and whinger Scott the appearance of being successful.

Impressive that Norf could win in spite of Scott.

mmmmmmmmmmmmActually feel sorry for essendon.

Drug scandal has killed their chances of being grand final chances.

The players dont deserve this.

The supporters dont deserve this.

The club has been strong in their way of standing up to AFL/asada bullies.

haaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Suffer in your jocks you rotten bastards.

Great game! And good on North, people seem to hate them because they keep beating us year in and year out!

Well that's football, two teams play each other and one team wins!

When I was a kid, North was a joke of a team, now it's the other way round. In future we may become as good or (I hope) better than North Melbourne, but for the moment I enjoyed the game last night and I reckon they might just give Geelong a fright next week!

We don't dislike them cause they beat us. We dislike them because they're a club full of staging, whingeing punks.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
