6. Lynden Dunn - Form defender of the competition and played another excellent game

5. Jordie McKenzie - Did his job for a full four quarters and played a major hand in the match-winning goal..

4. Dom Tyson - thought he was the difference-maker in the second half

3. Nathan Jones - another tireless and consistent game

2. James Frawley - very good in the contest and the best of our tall forwards on the night.

1. Mark Jamar - got control of the ruck in the second half and with Tyson a big part of the comeback.

6. Dunn - kept us in it when we could have been blown away

5. Jetta - as above

4. Jones - our best mid when we were bad and just overran everybody in the second half

3. Mckenzie - destroyed Stanton and with it Essendrugs free flowing style of footy

2. Kent - wasn't great early but got better as the game wore on and was really vital part of the revival

1. Mcdonald - like Dunn & Jetta part of our great defence

Frawley & Grimes are very unlucky as is Crossy who showed leadership when it mattered

There's more to voting than stats as we all know but fair dinkum Dunn returned some pretty impressive numbers today: 29 disposals at 86 % efficiency, 11 marks, 16 rebound 50s.

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show.     THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

    Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years.     Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force for training at Gosch's Paddock on Wednesday morning for the MFC's School Holidays Open Training Session.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training.
