I don't think you like Watts Joeboy. A tough call on Vince too.

Spot on assessment of all concerned Joeboy.

It's good to have a reviewer who doesn't care about reputations and last weeks efforts, just the game at hand!

Keep up the realistic and truthful insights that others can't see through their rose coloured glasses.....

They speak for themselves. He was one of our best today, but lacking a clear way inside 50 as was the case for all of our midfielders.

Joe Boy, you are losing credibility with me.
You are so blinded by whether we win or lose that it completely alters your analysis.
When we win, your 3 words are usually all over the top positive (when realistically you still have your negatives in a win),
when we lose they are ALL over the top negative, when not all players 22 players have bad games.
Analysis should be without emotion, you once did it that way.

Are you serious about Vince?

He turned the ball over once in the 1st qtr that was costly and noticeable, he threatened to tear the game apart in the 3rd.

Way to harsh on him.

What was Garland's role today, he was generally playing half back I think but didn't seem to be an integral part of the backline that he should be.

Why are people saying that Gawn needs to learn how to take marks?!? He took 7 today, including 3 contested (most of any player on the ground)!

Because he got clean hands to about 10 others, where he was heaps taller than his opponent and simply spilled the mark, without it being punched away from him. 3 contested marks is a very good effort but he got to a lot of contests and lacked the polish to actually take the mark. Persevere with him though - his marking will get better.

Cross - Best & Fairest

He's definitely solid. What a pick up

And big Max needs to take them because he is a liability at times when the ball hits the ground. Heis not great below his knees and is slow chasing the opposition. To keep his place he will just have to hold the marks he gets first hands to.

Agreed, he has to hold his marks. When the ball hits the ground he's out of the game.

Matt Jones - frustrates me that he won't back himself when running into goal.

Collingwood showed the importance of speedy half back flankers who can break the lines. This makes Grimes' current role questionable and opens the door for Blease - if he can show something at Casey.

I'm a Dawes fan but he was very disappointing yesterday. Destroyed by a kid.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
