Moloney dropped, sub last week.

Robbo thinks that if he can't get a game for the Lions with how they are going, his career will be pretty much done.

Geez Gorgoroth u must be sitting on the computer he only just said it 15 sec ago.

Don't forget it is Robbo speaking!!

It is amusing that if Beamer and Sylvia were not previously Melbourne players, I would say get them cheap at the end of the year.

Ha ha, I have my Bullie asleep across my lap and my iPod on him so I can't do nothing but watch the TV and work the interwebz! :P

The youth policy at the lions is hurting him, with us we had few seniors hence he got priority. The lions have far better senior players already to fill that role.

He'll be a depth player i imagine.

Leppitsch is clearly making the most of his honeymoon period as coach by playing all the kids whilst the result is irrelevant.

But for Moloney the problem maintains the same one as when he fell out of favour at Melbourne. He's incredibly one dimensional. And Brisbane have Rockliff and Redden as much better clearance winning inside midfielders and there's only so many you can have in the team.

Who will do the on ground pointing now?

Beamer does not have endurance required to run hard both ways and if you can't do that you are not going to play in an AFL midfield in 2014.

Given he is not strong enough overhead to play forward his future in the game is limited.

Theyre tanking !!!

Interesting if Brisbane really bottom out badly, the AFL will want to provide draft assistance I bet but because they refused our request last year for draft assistance, they are somewhat hamstrung, if they don't want to look like hypocrites.

But of course that has never stopped them before if they want to engineer an outcome for a favoured team or in the case of the tanking fiasco, a team like MFC that they want to hammer for whatever reason.

Of course an up side maybe they will decide to provide help to both teams in some form while we are probably raped again via Free Agency!

The AFL wont worry about looking like hypocrites. I mean they are, and they dont seem to mind changing their shoes to suit.

I wonder if neeld might be tempted to tweet some encouraging words

Don't think Neeld will care too much. He's not as childish as Beamer to tweet something bitter and twisted.

Nup neeld wouldnt stoop that low but he may have a quiet chuckle to himself. I did when I heard he was dropped. How long is he contracted at brisbane for?

The thing is he played in a team that was near the bottom and chose to leave. Now he is in a team in the same position but the difference is he cant get a game. Id be worried that youngsters are passing him if I was him. His leadership obviously isnt very good. He and Sylvia are just finding out how easy they had it at melbourne.

I wonder how this guy would have turned out if he'd stayed at Geelong. I'm certainly not a fan of his at all, but that's a "what if" I'd love to know the answer to.

they have to quickly replace those lost from they're list last end of season. this is their bottom out year. the honeymoon period.

but with Lethal Matthews there, they won't dwell down there, for more than a season.

ah, will they? I'll watch this space at years end. If no PPicks forthcoming, then other favours can apply !

Contract till end 2014 I think.

He didn't choose to leave he was pushed by our pitiful so called coach at the time.

U know the apprentice.

They'd be tanking if they played him.

Get Beamer back for a one season farewell tour ... base payments.

Gotta be joking. Keep him away from the place.

Absolute cancer.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
