Disagree with you here Moonshadow. At the Blues Kennedy was a massive disappointment. He not only did he under perform, he didn't show a lot of potential. The club was happy to let him go.

Subiaco is a ground that has suited his style of play and the Eagles have done well out of that trade. The kid is a star now.

Disagree - Kennedy was a young developing KPF. Carlton didn't want to lose him but had to, to secure Judd and Kennedy didn't want to leave Carlton at the time.

He was not a massive disappointment by any stretch of the imagination.

Nutjob Mitch Robertson would be high on my list and I would look at what value might be had with Jarred Waite for a year or two.

As you know I put a premium on grunt and a touch of homicidal maniac is just what this club needs right now!

Fair enuff. I'll stick with blue supporters who thought they Kennedy would amount to nothing special. They were wrong off course.

Shouldn't Trust a blue supporer. The record shows different demonstrative.

Not true if I recall correctly and from someone very close to Kennedy, the Blues balked at the deal as they wanted to keep Kennedy, they saw the potential and tried to work their way through a number of other scenarios none of which came to fruition. At the end of the day the deal came down to either Fev or Kennedy being traded as they wanted Judd. In the end they gave up Kennedy and kept Fev.

Both clubs won out on the trade but in hindsight we all know who they would have given up now

I know it's been rumoured elsewhere, but I had a mate who was at a function yesterday where a former Demons great said that Malceski to the Dees for 2 years was a done deal.

good news if true

our footskills are the worst in the history of the AFL, we need all the good kicks we can get

How Strauss didnt get a game ahead of Terlich today ill never know

Actually, the blue supporters I know were very disappointed in Kennedy at the Blues. I'm not saying the club thought differently.

The MFC has kept Watts for very similar reasons. Potential. It's all very subjective. That's the game we support.

Couldnt help himself could he..

strike while the irons hot, i suppose...lol... I'm surprised he hasn't suggested we draft him...

I hope Malceski isn't the only big fish we get this offseason though...I would be willing to bet there will be more after seeing Roos post match press conference today. He was shattered and couldn't believe how [censored] this teams skills are and IMPLIED offloading a lot of players that aren't cutting it.

Demonstrative the Blues Supporters you know unless the Pratts have no say in the running of the club, Fact is they did not want to let him go. The option came down to Judd or Kennedy

St P, i said he was underwhelming at the blues. The discussion started regarding Cameron from GWS being worth 2 high draft picks. The Judd Kennedy trade was brought up (maybe from me). I argued Kennedy was a speculative trade as his form was underwhelming.

If Carlton wanted to keep Kennedy or not, is not the point of the this discussion.

Thanks for your contribution tho.

Nicholls from the suns would be a good get

He is my cousin.

Has put off contract talks till the end of the year.

Same with the ones I know. Look back at his stats from that time and you can see why.

Also, fact is they did let him go. Can say they didn't want to when they did

Last sentence is bollocks. And you know it. They reluctantly let Kennedy go. He didn't want to go either. The trade for Judd hinged upon him going to WCE, so they let him go paired with a very high draft pick.

I'd trade for Cameron or a a mid, such as Parker. Work your best magic Roosy!

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
