If you are one of those looking for 6-8 wins this year then september will be pre season training.

Can't see why we would need them then.

Any way they will probably be going for post season surgery getting ready for 2015 season.

Why do you care? We have to pay someone the salary cap, we already don't pay the full amount and aren't anywhere near salary cap pressure, or anybody else wanting more money that we can't pay. Our only free agent, Chip, can be covered with the cap as is, and by the time our young players want a pile, these contracts will be gone.

No, I completely agree with the paying the memberships, club being in debt etc etc. That is an entirely separate issue.

I'm totally not saying he has been value for money. But it isn't about all of us paying money into the club that's being squadered. We're not paying close to the salary cap as it is.

To spell it out for you I dont believe he prepares himself correctly. It would have been known that soft tissue injuries following his Lisfranc was possible.

The foot injury was apparently finished well before summer. It is both the club and the players' responsibility to train and recover in the best possible fashion.

I reckon Dawes will be back by round 6 or 7.

He injured his calf last year in NAB 1 and didn't return until the GOld Coast game in round 7. There was no transparancy from the club.

Kind of sounds like the same story this year.

I think you will find that a) that pact probably was more about not going out on the turps every night and maintaining a healthy diet as well as some light training, and b) Clark and Dawes both adhere to a similar work ethic.

That you could seriously suggest the players take responsibility for their training regimes and understand the implications of certain kinds of exercise post Lisfranc recovery, is an absolute joke... that is why we have people like Misson at the club and even they will not get it right 100% on the time.

I don't think you have ever played the game or have never had an injury.....Players get injured ...it is a fact of life playing this game....Some players have a charmed run others don't

Nose, teeth, knees, hamstrings, ankles, toes, back but especially fingers. Ive spent money on injuries.

we all need to calm down and take a deep breath. We all hoped Clarke and dawes would be good to go Rd1 but unfortunately that's not the case. Its not Dawes knee keeping him out like we feared its his calf. Its not clarkes foot keeping him out like we feared its his hammy. Long story short its damn bad luck.

We will have Dawes back Rd2 if not Rd1 and we will have Clarke back Rd 3-4. So lets get this straight they could play up to 17 or 18 together this year. so lets temped that idea of them never playing together. Lets hope Jesse doesn't get thrown around too much by the big defenders and looses confidence (I think we all know that's not going to happen) and when Dawes and Clarke come in they can take the big defendeds.

How exciting is it too think, all going well by Rd 3 or 4 (unfortunately not Rd1) that jesse and Howe will be taking defender 3 and 4.
