Details soon to come, but heard from a good source Colin Silvia left the scene of a car crash that his car was involved in at 6am was a passenger

He does seem to stuff up a hell of a lot. Just doesn't consistently play well enough to be excused for being a bit of a tool.

Can't get stuck into him too much right now. Details are still not fully given. For all we know he was on his way to some running track for some early morning fitness when someone from another car or his mate who was driving did something silly. In that case, we'd all feel sorry for him.

Not saying he didn't do anything wrong as he may have at 6:45 but wait for more details before hammering him completely...

So if he wasnt driving, what has he done wrong?

Dont say he was out at 6:45am. It is off-season, he is on holidays. He can be out as late as he wants.

Doesn't look good .He will not be given an opportunity to play for Australia now.I went to Whitten Oval today and it was a buzz of gossip with many wild stories. All with grog.Hope they are ALL wrong and he was just going to St Kilda for an early dip- HA HA

Is it an offense for a passenger to leave the scene of a car accident?

When the passenger is the owner of the car, I imagine it might be.

Heath Shaw?

He was just trying to make Neeld feel at home :-)

If Colin is in trouble it will be interesting to see how the club respond under Neeld's reign. Hoping it is just a slow news week and they are blowing this up to be more than a very minor indiscretion.

No, the driver of the car must exchange details in an accident and if someone is injured it must be reported to the police. The passenger has no obligation. Also, when you say "leave the scene of an accident", you obviously are meaning before the exchange of details, as everyone who is able to , leaves the scene of an accident at some stage.

If he has done nothing wrong why shouldn't he play?

Storm in a teacup.

Based on the Hun and the Age nothing on Colin here ladies. Safe to move along now.

If they could give a wingnut like Fevola an Ireland jolly then I think Colin has no issues with representing Australia in the upcoming circus.

No!

When you are due to train the next day or whenever and play a week later you don't go out to 6:45 even if it is the off season. And if you aren't [censored] or on drugs or worried about what the cops/media are going to do you don't flee the scene when your expensive car has just hit and brought down a power pole. If it was 6:45pm and I was a passenger in my car that hit a power pole I'd be pretty keen to stick around and make sure the right procedures are followed, is that unreasonable?

Technically he's probably done not too much wrong, but in pursuit of professionalism this is a massive amateur effort.

A serious punishment must be handed down. He's had too many priors. Missing the Int Rules doesn't count. The question is what can we punish him with? He doesn't seem to worry about missing one or two games or fines. First 5 weeks of the season playing in Casey's backline would be my suggestion.

Yeah, poor form from 7.

People these days don't like to give people second chances and let them move on with their lives. The Media just keep on stirring up as much turbidity as they can hoping something will stick.

Every young single man needs to go out on the turps occasionally. And occasionally get wasted.

Too much Stress in todays World.

IF, he wasn't driving, then I hope the other wasn't too far over the limit. Thats the only thing here.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to
