What did Goody see in Sparrow that he didn't see in Jordon

The revisionism about James Jordon in here is hilarious.

Geologists have just confirmed that the Barassi Line has shifted further north just now.

Swans home ground advantage .. yet the dogs who finished higher had no advantage over the hawks playing on their home ground!  Dogs had played twice vs 9 @ the G ..  MCG contracts over integrity.. should have played at Marvel

Coniglio cooked their last true opportunity - should’ve gone top of the square instead of wide.

Giants will be knackered after that - looked like they ran out of run.

Geez the Giants just [censored] the bed.

Seems Demonland jinxed GWS and WB 😅😅

Shoutout to @binman

When everyone was saying the swans were gone 4 weeks ago he was saying they were loading…. That last quarter was something else.  First time GWS have lost a 4th qtr when leading at 3qtr time under Adam Kingsley.

Agree and GRUNDY Goody has NO IDEA

We made a massive mistake with Jimmy Jordan finals pressure he stood up massively in the 4th.

For 2 Victorian teams? Nope. Play it at the G. I would’ve been ok if the game today was play at Stadium Australia too.

To the game………..Ash $h!t the bed with that poor kick. He had all the time in the world, and kicked it over the boundary. Only highlights the need for elite kickers, which Ash certainly isn’t.

Whats more, Peatling 12 tackles……….would love him in our team

Is it revisionism if the player in general improves significantly and we don't find anything better?

So you'd prefer 47,000 fewer people to be able to see the match?

Jordon had 12 touches

Tagged Whitfield who was very good

then played a good last Q

That is all. Jordon is a good solid player but he wanted to leave as he wasn’t getting a game  get over it

I would love to have the time to show all the quotes on here bagging him and begging for him to be dropped

When you make him the sub 7 times, drop him in an instant and prefer others, JJ had to walk out !!! That’s the truth.  Goodwin didn’t show him that he was wanted.

Sorry I've mistyped. Is it revisionism? if the play in general improves significantly and we don't find anything better then aren't we wrong?

Good game. If it is a sydney geelong GF I hope the swans turn the table from a couple of years ago.

And shoutout to @Bring-Back-Powellwho picked a Geelong and Sydney GF about 3 weeks out from finals. Not a done deal but in the box seat.

In some ways this helps the Giants get to a grand final easier. They’ll beat Brisbane at Engie or Carlton if they somehow make it and then I’d back them to beat the Cats at the MCG.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
