Let’s package up SA boys Petty and Sparrow to Adelaide for pick 37.

May come out in front 😭

He gets suspended every time he goes within 6 feet of someone and then we all lay into him about not letting the team down!

Exactly.

Yes he flew for a speccie too but he's been our best so far.

Compare the quality of that footage with the May touched ball a few weeks back. Hmmmm.

Yep, ARC is another part of the cheating.

Need to stop this [censored] [censored] handlballing in traffic. We don't have the skills and just invite the pressure

If we gonna play like this atleast level that thug

Absolutely.

So this is our response.

Zero goals.

Might as well go for broke and smash the dog.

Oliver’s disposal by foot is bloody ordinary.

Garry Lyon once said he was in the frame to be the best Dee EVER.

Feel like that honour should be reserved for someone who can actually kick, or at least kick a goal once every 10 games.

I know you're not supposed to say this these days, but he is definitely carrying more weight this year.

If only we had a forward line. Bombing into packs like this when there's no-one there who can take the marks.

Please stop with this. Your forward line is as good as your structure and entry. Collingwood isn't winning this. We're losing it. We have zero sync, zero structure, no desire. It is painful to watch everywhere.

We are poorly coached. And not fit

what a  f&&*& disgraceful effort against a team that is decimated by injury and playing half their VLF side. we dont run and chase, fritter as much as i love him barely chases, though the one time he actually did he was rewarded. this is a side you must man up on and run with your player as they are always looking for the give and run and get it back again, or the overlap. if everyone is on their player you deny them this.

I revise my earlier prediction, pies by 10 15 goals.

Best mid playing fwd , Goodwin has lost the plot .. has screwed the team with his

pigheaded stubbornness

Absolutely no forward connection whatsoever so we had 3 quarters of the forward half action for f all return.

Row up

I am not familiar with that one. My observation is that Maynard is a thug. I won't be changing that view.

Well done to all Melbourne supporters who have gone today to endure this gutless, incompetent, clueless performance.

Our forward line is useless, our defence is non existent and without Gawn we'd be 8 goals down.

What purpose are Laurie and Howes serving? And when did Oliver last find a teammate?

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, we’ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
