Oliver tried hard and 40+is a good stats but I didn't think he was as effective as usual. Too many handballs not to advantage and he didn't run out of the contest as well as he has been doing most of the year

I saw him shaking his hand in pain tonight. I suspect he may have injured his thumb again.

There was a kicking in danger again when he had his hand on the ball. Looked like it hurt.

Yeah I saw that too, I think it was the dog called Mason Cox who kicked his hand in the second term.

This is a hard one.

Many players worked as hard as ever but the composure wasn't there and there were a lot of blots on their pages.

6. Petracca

5. Brayhaw

4. Viney

3. Oliver

2. Gawn

1. Jordon - think he deserves a mention because he made a lot of repeat efforts in really difficult situations with respectable results.

6 - Max ( could have won it for us)

5 - Clarry (not as clean as usual)

4 - Tracc ( had no influence in the last)

3 - Brown ( tried all night)

2 - Rick( only winner down back)

1 - JV ( tried all night but not great tonight)

We need a tall forward who can take a mark and kick straight how many opportunities can we waste, Milkshake is not the answer. Our much vaunted backline broke down badly tonight when it mattered.

He got kicked (i believe it was in danger but of course, not paid) on the hand when going for a ball down the Punt Rd end again.  He looked to be in a bit of bother for a minute or so but appeared to shake it off and seemed to continue as normal afterwards

Gawn (if only he’d kicked 2.0….)

oliver (8 tackles!)

trac

viney

gus

salem (wish he’d kicked 2.0….)
