Not the worst idea....if they can actually get out of bed that is... Lots of data coming out that even professional athletes that have little to no symptoms are still impacted in lung health for upto a month. Dr Peter Larkin mentioned this on the radio earlier in the week.

That could become a bit of a concern considering how much our game plan revolves around running and how taxing it can be over 4 quarters..

ANB is only behind Petracca for score involvements for us.... this one hurts big time he's not easily replaceable

This is odd if ANB trained today must have got symptoms later in the day

Or no symptoms, positive rat or close contact…

Or some players and staff with symptoms have been doing multiple RATs per day (which is sensible)

Can definitely test negative of a morning with slight symptoms and positive in the afternoon with barely any change in severity

Yeah you’d assume he did a RAT before training though unless they are doing 2 a day…

Maybe but it's also called being practical DD.

I wasn't worried before. But now I am nervous.

Can someone explain to me when are they gonna get rid of all these H&S stuff? Surely with player triple or even 4th jabbed and most of them already caught the disease it's just around the corner.

I worry multiple games missed, like the flu this disease can present again throughout the year.

ANB would also be the club house leader in “holding the ball against” decisions.

I don’t really see the point

You see you need 22 players to play in a game of football. And a sub of course. 4 of them will begin on what is called the ‘interchange’ or ‘bench’ as it is known in some parts.

I'll be spewing if Oliver's consecutive games streak gets torpedoed by this bloody virus in the coming days/weeks.

1st for tackles.
1st for goal assists.
5th for frees against (behind Gawn, Pickett, Oliver and Joel Smith - and equal with Lever).

Baffles me people still try to put ANB down.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
