For the majority of that game it was like watching a boa constrictor slowly crush it's next meal. We were really disjointed trying to go inside fifty though. Hawthorn at their peak would have won that game by 20 goals.

So much wrist slitting.

We conceded 35 points

We are 4 and 0

Plenty of people have short memories, not long ago we were rubbish.  This was a complete defensive effort

Neal Bullen spending so much time in the middle of the ground is part of the problem why we can’t keep the ball inside 50 for as long.

One of the most painful wins I've watched but it's still a win. Gawn, Harmes, May, Langdon and Jordan played well, not much else to take out of it except it was a win without Oliver and Petracca starring.

Hope Wines is OK.

I was there in 1997 at Footy Park when Port ended Balme's coaching career.

Never looked like losing it to be honest, but won’t be rewatching any of that. That was a grind.

Well done James Jordan, best game he’s played for us.

Ordinary start but we went on to crush a pretender side.

That's what premiers do!!!

Then we give away junk time [censored] which costs me a big  40+ margin bet . FMD !!!!  FMD again !!!!!!!

Same here! 👿

Port flooded hardcore they were trying to minimise the damage all match…off 2 short breaks and 2 interstate trips not sure why any of our supporters could be upset by that…

Mega Frustrated- gift kills where we could have won by 20 goals are so rare  this was a big missed opportunity.

Still very happy for the win, and I loved tehe deefence.

Love how we are banking wins playing in second gear.

Offence will switch on when we need.

Percentage won't matter if we never lose again.

We clearly put the cue in the rack at the end of the game, and if you don't believe that, Ed Langdon was on the bench at the end of the game.

Ok again

how long since we won 4 wins start. Two years in a row. Must be in the 50’s

Feels weird to feel unsatisfied when 4-0. We just know we can play so much better than we’ve shown this far this year. Doesn’t matter as long as we click into gear later in the year when it matters.

We did what we needed to do - nothing flash but an absolutely strangling defence.

Need to spruce up our inside 50 delivery considerably ...... most were random and ugly. Felt sorry for weed and Fritter - even BBBBB would have struggled.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
