I have always got the fact other Clubs play home games there, but not thee MFC no training aspect. If my memory serves me right it was mutual. The centre square was the cricket pitch (Merri soil) and was roped off and often covered. This made training difficult so we would use the old Scotch Oval IIRC.Then we moved to Junction Oval Quote

I remember a time when a bit of mud and a few puddles here and there was considered quite acceptable on a footy ground. 1 Quote

It must be something to do with keeping the turf in decent condition, otherwise you’d think we could do it. Every single other club has their own training ground, as we are aware! We wouldn’t be to train on it during the summer, tho’. Quote

DemonDave 1,099 Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 If My maths/eyesight is correct: Red 10 Goals Blue 9 Goals Red Goakickers: 4 Melksham, 2 Fritsch, 1 Bennell, Hanna, Hunt, Pickett Blue Goalkickers: 3 Brown, 2 Spargo, 1 Bedford, Jordan, C Wagner, Neal-Bullen Happy to be corrected if someone saw these differently Concerningly no goals to Tommy Mac or Weeds 7 3 Quote
TheKozzieExperience 258 Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 A grand total of 0 goals combined for Weid and T Mac. Horrible. We will need to go shopping for a legitimate key forward next trade period. 3 Quote
