Worth a look? Been very good this year and could cover any leadership void if Lewie retires.

You mean like going out on benders and getting a club suspension?

Would just Pick 2 be enough to get him though?

I will be staggered after his game today, if they don't change their mind and give him another year.

It has to be Coniglio that is causing this.

Clearing salary cap room.

I say Yes too the Daisy Cutter. I think he is playing great football and still has a lot of dash in the legs!

He can play in many positions and has some of our best 22 covered!

I seriously think he's worth a look at. Handled himself extremely well at Carlton through serious injuries and has been super this year. Would probably get him for a rookie spot and would help free up Salem to play in the midfield and could also play wing. Use our first round pick for sn 18 year old and later picks/trades for 23 and under y/olds and we can afford a 30 y/old rookie that we will get a season out of.

I would offer Daisy a one year option for several reasons. He is playing good footy, has kicking skills and I like that he is a quirky extrovert type of player that is not carrying the psychological baggage that our list and coaching group is at the moment! Listening to interviews with Lever, Melk and even Goodwin, they seem bewildered at what has happened, basically we are in a dark place not unlike what Roos walked into. We probably need a turnover of 10 or so players, a mix of experience and youth to reset the group’s confidence in themselves.

Seriously? He's played exactly 100 games for Carlton and only won 28 of them, if were going to bring in guys who are ready to retire then surely we go the Jordy Lewis model again and bring in someone who has a strong history of winning?

There is no way we should consider him for a second, this is one of the more bizarre calls on here.

70% Yes.

He plays with intensity, he can evade a tackle, and more importantly  can actually hit a target by hand and foot. And from all reports is a wonderful influence on younger players behind the scenes. He has his flaws - both football and personal - but he has qualities we need.

I think we are going to still lack experience next year. If he’s happy to also play some footy at Casey then I’d be happy to bring him in for a year. Doubt he’d want to do it though.

Why not, playing well, better than a speculative pick 76. We have to try things. I hope we are so into Harley Bennell. Why not, you know what doesn't work for us and hasn't.. being conservative. Last wild thing we did was recruit Liam Jurrah, that was amazing,  have a crack at Harley, be patient, rookie him, becausee the upside is far greater than the prospect of him not playing.

Earl Hood, while I appreciate we're bottom two and only won 5 games I doubt we will turnover 10 players. We have four retirements - Lewis, T Smith, Maynard and Keilty, maybe one to two traded and probably a couple delisted. I can't see more than 7-8 changes.

I also don't think our situation is anywhere near as dark as when Roos walked in and expect we will bounce back quickly next year. Whether that means we are at the pointy end or battling for a position in the 8 will com down to how well we address the issues from this season but I cannot see another bottom 4-6 finish.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
