Posting unsubstantiated rumours on this website is strictly forbidden.

Demonland has made the difficult decision to not permit this platform to be used to discuss & debate the off-field issues relating to the Melbourne Football Club including matters currently being litigated between the Club & former Board members, board elections, the issue of illicit drugs in footy, the culture at the club & the personal issues & allegations against some of our players & officials ...

We do not take these issues & this decision lightly & of course we believe that these serious matters affecting the club we love & are so passionate about are worthy of discussion & debate & I wish we could provide a place where these matters can be discussed in a civil & respectful manner.

However these discussions unfortunately invariably devolve into areas that may be defamatory, libelous, spread unsubstantiated rumours & can effect the mental health of those involved. Even discussion & debate of known facts or media reports can lead to finger pointing, blame & personal attacks.

The repercussion is that these discussions can open this website, it’s owners & it’s users to legal action & may result in this website being forced to shutdown.

Our moderating team are all volunteers & cannot moderate the forum 24/7 & as a consequence problematic content that contravenes our rules & standards may go unnoticed for some time before it can be removed.

We reserve the right to delete posts that offend against our above policy & indeed, to ban posters who are repeat offenders or who breach our code of conduct.

WE HAVE BUILT A FANTASTIC ONLINE COMMUNITY AT DEMONLAND OVER THE PAST 23 YEARS & WE WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE TO BE ABLE TO DISCUSS THE CLUB WE LOVE & ARE SO PASSIONATE ABOUT.

Thank you for your continued support & understanding. Go Dees.

You must work for them, this collective minds are a joke nothing good came from them, they are what they call quacks, frauds pretending to be psychologist when none of them are  qualified.

You’re not a fan of what they’ve achieved at Adelaide?

It is only getting worse as more details come out.

According to this article, Collective Minds were ditched early in the season, which led to some wins, before Pyke brought them back the week before the Alice Springs game...

Addressing the psychology of players is essential. Do it in a militaristic way such as the Crows did and we did is fraught with danger. It is not the way to go about it.

Employing a mindfulness course sellout like the Tigers did and focusing on positive psychology is how it needs to be managed.

I note our players revolted and told the FD they didn't want to do the camp again and the FD listened and cancelled it. We were laughed at and seen as weak (both players and coaches) yet ended up finishing 5th. The Crows players revolted and Collective Minds were scrapped leading to their best form for the season. They were then reinstated leading to their worst loss (in years?) against us and ended up dropping to 12th after runners up last year.

Beware the fugazi.

Where are all those morons saying we should have gone on the camp? Those saying it thought the player where weak, maybe the players knew something, maybe if Don listen to his players like Goodwin did they might have had a better season.

I don't think anyone wanted us to go on a fake macho camp run by would-be Rambos who've watched too many Schwarzenegger and Steven Seagal movies, and end up injured physically or psychologically.

The issue was always the way the players went behind the club's back. Indicated a rift in the club which had the potential to Adelaide our season.

Adelaide lived out precisely the season we feared we might wear because of the rift.

Fortunately we appear to have overcome that and amazingly enough, our recent on-field success is the mental breakthrough we needed, not midnight hazings while naked in blackface.

No more camps and no more rifts.

Go Demons!

No that's wrong many said the player should just do what the club tells them to do, but those saying  that will just pretend they said nothing.

Background: A 'cult-like’ pre-season camp debacle left senior Adelaide Crows players distressed

Entitled the ‘Mankind Project’ and run by Collective Minds, players were asked to complete emotionally upsetting questionnaires, as well as a variety of tasks that sources say also had at least one assistant coach questioning the merits of the mental elements of the camp.

Now read on ...

My (very) weird weekend with the naked woodland warriors who travel to remote England to 'reclaim their masculinity'

I have signed up to the ManKind Project, an all-male group boasting 1,700 UK members that aims to release men's 'inner warrior' and reclaim their masculinity.

Sounds like the kind of bollocks that Gavin McInness and the Proud Boys would do. In their case, the participants are mostly coveted in Cheeto dust and sporting fedoras and anime t-shirts.

The players went behind the leaders' backs and behind the coaches backs and went to the AFLPA. That is the only issue.

They got the result they wanted, so it’s a non issue. Always was.

The players got the result they wanted? You might be happy with that but it spelled 'issues' for me. What are the leaders of the club there for if not to deal with this sort of thing?

It's like Gysberts refusing to run a 3km time trial because its too hot....

Were the 'issues' with the coaches or the players in your view?  Coaches unapproachable or players very naughty boys?

Whatever, the proof is in the pudding and the pudding at the moment looks very tasty.   So even if it was an issue, it is a non-issue now as DA stated.

    TRAINING: Monday 29th April 2024

Demonland Trackwatcher Kev Martin was on hand at Gosch's Paddock for Monday's training session and made the following observations. About 38 to 40  players down at training.  BBB walking laps.  Charlie Spargo still in rehab, doing short run throughs.  Christian Salem has full kit on and doing individual work with a trainer. He is is starting to get into some sprints. I cannot see Andy Moniz-Wakefield out there. Jack Viney and Kade Chandler have broken away from the

    DISCO INFERNO by Whispering Jack

Two weeks ago, when the curtain came down on Melbourne’s game against the Brisbane Lions, the team trudged off the MCG looking tired and despondent at the end of a tough run of games played in quick succession. In the days that followed, the fans wanted answers about their team’s lamentable performance that night and foremost among their concerns was whether the loss was a one off result of fatigue or was it due to other factor(s) of far greater consequence.  As it turns out, the answer to

TIGERS PUNT CASEY by KC from Casey

The afternoon atmosphere at the Swinburne Centre was somewhat surreal as the game between Richmond VFL and the Casey Demons unfolded on what was really a normal work day for most Melburnians. The Yarra Park precinct marched to the rhythm of city life, the trains rolled by, pedestrians walked by with their dogs and the traffic on Punt Road and Brunton Avenue swirled past while inside the arena, a football battle ensued. And what a battle it was? The Tigers came in with a record of two wins f

    GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond

It's Game Day and the Demons once again open the round of football with their annual clash against Richmond on ANZAC Eve. The Tigers, coached by former Dees champion and Premiership assistant coach Adem Yze have a plethora of stars missing due to injury but beware the wounded Tiger. The Dees will have to be switched on tonight. A win will keep them in the hunt for the Top 4 whilst a loss could see them fall out of the 8 for the first time since 2020.
